Tried to practice emotions and comic-style art and made the mistake of choosing a character without eyebrows and teeth for a start. Other than that I am very happy with this!

I am "studying" for an art-history exam... In other words I have like 20 days to remember 100 names and dates

Made a explanatory zine about hydrothermal vents and how it is possible for animals to live there. I‘m gonna add my sources on the back of it and am still looking for something to add underneath the explanation of chemosynthesis, but otherwise I am happy :)

Sadly I‘ve started making my zines in black and white, simply because it is cheaper to print.

Pretty sure those types of visual impairment are completely curable from a star-trek pov, but Garak and Bashir are near- and far-sighted in my heart and this is how they read the books for their book-club.

I got my first real criticism for some of my paintings yesterday and our teacher has a tendency to be very negative so I expected the worst. HOWEVER, he called my paintings „decorative“ (fair enough), unsexy (what?) and embarrassing (ouch). Which.. harsh but okay.

But the thing is… I painted the patterns of amphibian-skin? It wasn‘t MEANT to be sexy?????? Like… use „boring“ or whatever, but „unsexy“? How is that supposed to help me come up with something better??

Made a colouring-picture of a bunch of Arthropoda having a party and now I‘ll force every kid I know to colour it in. Long live the fight against the fear of insects and spiders and other critters!!!
