The Reality War wasn't a perfect episode. There was so much that felt wrong: Belinda, the villains, the themes, etc. But it felt like this big, brave version of doctor who that took me on an emotional journey and I love it for that

Ok "Blink" is a fantastic episode but all 3 of the fans claiming it as their favorite just... Nah. Most unrealistic thing about this episode and there's a living cartoon wreaking mayhem in a Miami movie theatre

first time watching forest of the dead you think wow this is really intriguing and the emotional setup pays off despite not knowing anything about river because it's a banger concept. second time watching forest of the dead is like wow this is romance and tragedy at its peak, river song you were one of a kind and even a glimpse into the love you will share is enough to spark so much grief in him.

so RTD keeps putting spoons in the episodes with his pantheon of discord. is this relevant? I Genuinely Don’t Know. But.

Maestro: first seen in the reflection of a cafeteria spoon

Sutekh: that whole weird bit with the Doctor collecting a spoon from that woman

Lux: brought into the world via the medium of ~magic reflecting spoon~

are they going to keep this up? probably. does it mean anything? idk. I look forward to the god of spoons appearing 20 episodes from now ✨
