Some time between january and june, 2022

This is a project I made for school. The project was to take an unused / old object from our home and make it look like time had passed or like the nature took back its place. So, I sculpted some moss, mushrooms, radioactives barrels, etc. to make it look like it went trought the apocalypse. (I don’t remember why I added tentacules, but I think it might just have been because I thought it fited the apocalypse vibe)

(I would probably be able to do a better paint job now, but for that time and the tools the school provided, I think it’s not that bad.)

For my birthday, my mom got me some special paper that disolves with hot water so it’s easier to embroider something.

So, I tried it on an old pair of shorts.

Creature 18 : Furr-Frog

- Type D

- Eats insects.

- Good pets and loyal.

- Adapt themselves easily to the environnement they live in.

- Usually, lives between 50 ans 60 years.

- Very extrovert and has a lot of energy.

- Can’t walk. Jump to move.

- Doesn’t like to be dirty.

(If you don’t know, I made characters design based on each color. One of those characters, Nikklas (based on the color grey), is from another univers where something happened that mutated some animals, insects, objects, etc. So, I made some creatures design and made up some description of them.

Also, in that univers, they use another language that I also made up. It’s based on french, but without any conjugation, gender, the letters C and H, etc. So, I wrote the description in that language because I wanted to make every design look like it was from a grimoire or an encyclopedia of all those creatures.)

Creature 17: Butterfl-Eyes

- Type D

- Eats the skin of their victims.

- Can camouflage themself in the wild to attack by surprise.

- Has a very good night vision, but a very bad day vision.

- Moves in group of arround 50.

- No longer born as a caterpillar. They have lost the metamorphosis aspect after the accident.

- Wings symmetrical.

- Doesn’t have paws, so they are always flying.

Creature 16: Turtle-Of-Fire

- Type D

- Spiky ends.

- Shell made of lava.

- Lives near volcanos or warm places.

- Calm, but impulsive.

- Can live for hundreds of years.

- Lives in group.

- Very fast, so very hard to hunt.

(Honestly, I’m not sure when I made that, but I think it was arround that time.)

This is a aquarelle painting that I made for school like 2-3 years ago, I’m not sure.

It might not be perfect, but I like it. Mainly because of how real the red panda looks (if you don’t think about his hight), but also because it was one of the first time that I really used aquarelle. (The other times, it was more like a coloring book or something like that, so it wasn’t that good.)

Creature 15: Fire-Of-Life

- Type B

- Can feel if someone is good or bad.

- Immortal and wise.

- Only good people can see them and they hide from bad people.

- It is considered an honnor to see one.

- There’s only 3 of them that exists.

- Can play dangerous tricks on bad people.

- Protects good people.

- Solitary

Creature 14: Qwak-Fangs (or "Qwak-Crocs" in french)

- Type D

- Carnivorous

- Hates people and attacks them as soon as they get in their vision.

- Stupid and impulsive.

- Solitary once they’re 2 months old.

- Can stay without moving and fixing nothing for hours.

- Has fangs all over their mouth.

- Often close to water points.

- Can use their wings as hands, but are too stupid to think about it.

Creature 13: Bobcat-Grabber

- Type B

- Independent, but loves the company of their closes ones.

- Use their tail to grab their victimes and other things.

- Sweet except when they feel danger.

- Can adapt their behavior depending on the people arround them.

- Always moving and very playfull.

- Sleeps hanged by their tail.

- Can fly.

- Soul of familiers who died in the explosion of one of the Protech Laboratories. (for context, "Protech" is the name I gave to the principal firm of the war in the univers "Nikklas" (one of the characters I created) is from)

- Doesn’t need to eat and sleep.

- Likes to explore.

- Variable sizes.

- Can change their body’s shape to access inaccessible places.

- Often very playfull.

- Noiseless.

May, 2023

This was a project I made for school.

The project was to create a sculpture of a chimera (a mix of at least 2 creatures, real or not). So, I mixed a dragon and a pig.

I called it “ Piggy Nocturne”. ( “Piggy” for pig, and “Nocturne” as in nocturnal in french. Also, the design reminded me of Thoothless, so I named to something similar to the name of his species in french “Fury Nocture”.)
