i honestly have so many opinions about anidala because while i think they loved each other they shouldn't be with each other given their circumstances. at the same time, they saw the best in each other. and valued key points of their personality (for padmé, it was anakin's raw honesty [which is rare in the world of politics] and for anakin it was how patient/understanding padmé is with him [he's very bpd coded and needed desperately someone who just gets him/gives the comfort he needs]). simultaneously. no. it was meant to go downhill since the very beginning 😭🙏 they are what they wanted for each other but not what they needed to make it work and i will die on this hill.

that being said i have a lot of mixed feelings about anidala 😓
