I’m so excited to share this with you! I’ve been working on this for a bit, and now it’s out! I made a holiday coloring book! It has 30 super cute holiday animal pictures with some fun puns! The last three pics are some of my favorites from the book “Bernie’s Mittens on a Kitten”, “Deck the Dogs with Bows on Collies”, and “Bah-Hum-Pug”!

6: Overgrown/Apple

Honestly I started this a month ago and just the leaves took me so long. I’m a mix of regret and pride lmfao

My sister got married in the middle of October, and it definitely had my full attention for a good while. I’m glad to be back on my own time for the moment, and I’m going to push to get art out while I can. It may not be October anymore, but I’m going to keep trying to complete the prompts on my own time table.

Day 5: Raven

Doing something a little more simple, but definitely trying to push my painting skills with a bit of a looser style. I also got the chance to use an awesome variety of brushes 🖌

Day 4: Spirit Witch

I really wanted to try to lean into some story telling with this one and tried to make a character being led by her ancestors/spirits.

Day 3: Turtle/Kettle

I’m calling it Tea Turtle 😂

I was really feeling the surreal aesthetic with this one. It kind of reminded me of one of my favorite older drawings from an Inktober long past, and I just went with it. I love how bright it is, the cute colors I ended up with, and I really enjoyed combining prompts again🥰

Day 2: Suit/Dragonfly

Tried doing a combo of prompts with the official Inktober “Suit” and #hausofbug Dragonfly. Definitely different than my usual style/work, but I had a bit of fun with it. I wish I had more time to iron out the pose, but that’s Inktober I suppose 🤷‍♀️

Day 1: Leaf

Inktober day one down! I’m super proud of this one, but this is 100% not my standard for the month 😅 Once again, I’m going to be hopping around prompts, thank you to @keavytattoo for providing me with some well needed inspiration. Here’s hoping I make it to the end this year too, and good luck to all my friends who are doing their best with the challenge too!

On a side note, I’m really enjoying working with procreate. It has a lot of amazing tools that I’m still only just finding out about and the perspective grids are a lifesaver. If anyone has any cool tricks they’ve learned from the program, I’d love to hear them!

Getting pretty inspired by some 90’s skater vibes lately and radsechrist’s Instagram feed with jagged/angular style lines and bold bright colors. I wanted to give it a go :)

Had to draw a tea drinking chimpanzee for an application yesterday, and this is what I came up with.

I tried to start a drawing without a plan and go straight into color to see where it might take me and this is where I ended up. 💃🏻 clearly I’ve always loved a foofy skirt 😅

I usually listen to podcasts or long format ambient noise when I’m drawing, and was accidentally inspired by @simplypodlogical talking about their fitness goals in a podcast and how Cristine was focused on improving her strength. I’m 100% here for the strong woman vibes 💪🥳

Some friends and I were playing little flash games on discord together and we came up with Babz, a bi, bubble tea drinking, a goth, green, goblin, gal, at a bus stop 😅. She has a lot of hats, but I thought she was a pretty fun character.

Have you ever just had one too many zoom calls?

I had a lot of fun with this and, quite frankly never expected to make anything other than a pencil test with it, but I’m pretty hyped about where it ended up! Should I do more of these?
