I have so much more respect for any historical fiction shows or movies that include historically accurate hairstyles even when they look weird and dumb to modern eyes. You get rid of those beach waves this minute, you fucking cowards.
#same with historically accurate clothing#I can’t stand when period pieces have people in clothes from the 21st century#that and hair as said completely are immersion breaking for me#and erase a lot of culture and traditions the movie/show is claiming to represent

Amid the ashes and destruction, my injured daughter tries to plant a small green branch in the burned ground, as if telling the world: we are still holding on to life despite everything. My daughter Lin is still suffering from her injury, and we in Gaza are struggling to survive after losing our home, our work, and every sense of safety. Right now, at this very moment, we are under heavy airstrikes as warplanes drop tons of explosives on us, and we don’t know if we will live to see tomorrow.
Please help me save my family and give Lin the chance to live like any other child who deserves safety. Every donation, no matter how small, can be a lifeline for us—it can save a life and bring hope back again.

Those mf fish have nothing to do with the overall plot fr 😭but it’s funny imagining Warren scrambling around very frustrated as he tries to control these fish, because this is the one thing he and his friends DIDNT directly cause. (Rozetta did cause the quake so ig she’s partially responsible, but the quake didn’t directly release the fish). Honestly though, the whole district would’ve been better if Lola was the main villain, not that other guy who no one cares about

This is so real. Nebet CARRIED that game. I’m half convinced two different teams worked on s6, because how do you write something as excellent as Nebets story then make the majority of the rest of the season a bland nothing burger, especially in terms of characters? Maybe someone came up with Nebet as an awesome OC then they realized they had to build a game around her.
Ten reasons on why i'm replaying travel in time:
Nebet's storyline
Tony as a kid is adorable

Did she? I mean she gassed the Hayes so I guess that could’ve been an extra toll. But also, Warren used his powers to throw projectiles at that Bateman dummy. So he was being extra there. Imagine having such beef with your “friend” you’re willing to make yourself sick lmao
Honestly….:it was just the writers having NO idea what to do with her in Newmark. Heck, they barely knew what to do with her in Spring Fields. They wrapped up her story halfway through that district then abruptly swapped her for Bateman. Rude.
You’d think if you’re crafting the main villains for 70-95 percent of the game, you’d properly think about all of them and what you want their arcs and the like to be…she doesn’t have one besides simping…shame
Genuine question, was the only reason why Warren survived the grenade but Julia didn’t (other than the writers genuinely not knowing what to do with her), was because he used his powers less than her.
#maybe the whole reason was just because they didn’t have anything for her#<- honestly yeah unfortunately#criminal case the conspiracy#julia brine#joe warren#ad Astra#christian bateman

These are great! I especially love the Takakura and Powell ones. I like Mildred a lot, and regarding Powell, well, I don’t like her at all, actually, because her lenient sentences were actively ticking me off by University (down there with Old Town as my least favorite s5 districts bc while OT is boring, pretty much everyone in Uni is incredibly annoying) but that is a good headcanon and very in character!
I feel bad for Willie Redfern because of the crap he went through pre and during Breaking News, but my man, your dad assaulted and later murdered a woman. He deserves prison a hundred times over. Quite frankly, 25 years is an insanely light sentence considering how many laws he broke between assault, premeditated murder, and mf SLEEPING in the cockpit. Why tf are you kidnapping and threatening the woman who put him in prison. Stop.
Criminal Case Judges’ Headcanons
I realized, while reading the list of recurring characters, that some judges never appear as a victim, suspect, or quasi-suspect, so I decided to create a post focusing on them to give each one a headcanon.
***I’ve excluded Lawson since I’ve already made headcanons for him, and he appears a lot as a suspect and quasi-suspect in MotP, so he'll get more later on!***
Olivia Hall: She moved away from Grimsborough shortly before the events of The Conspiracy to be closer to her family. However, she stays in touch with her old coworkers, who keep her updated on all the craziness happening in the city. Needless to say, Olivia doesn’t regret leaving after hearing the increasingly crazy stories about what was happening in Grimsborough!
Edward Dante: His granddaughter has him wrapped around her finger. Edward adores her, and she is a grandpa’s girl through and through! If you want to see Edward light up like a Christmas tree, ask him to talk about his granddaughter. But be warned; he won’t stop talking for a LONG time!
Nigel Adaku: He always dreamed of travelling the world, but he assumed it would be in his retirement years, not for work! However, while he does travel a lot more regularly than he would like after the Bureau dragged him out of retirement, Nigel doesn’t let the trips go to waste. If he has the time, he’ll go sightseeing, picking up a small souvenir before he has to get on a plane and follow the Bureau to the next country
Satoshi Takakura: His book, “The Law Archives” (featured in “Game, Set, Murder” of The Conspiracy), was published after his death by his niece, Mildred. Satoshi wrote it in secret during his time as a judge for the Justice Corps and hid the manuscript. After his death and the fall of the Justice Corps, Mildred discovered the manuscript when she was cleaning out her uncle’s house. With help from Evie and others, they published the book in Satoshi’s memory and to carry on his legacy
Dora Umbright: Dora loves cats (she treats them WAY better than she does any person) and has always owned at least one prior to her incarceration. Most of her feline companions were strays, as she would leave food outside her house for them. However, some were adopted from the local shelter. Much of her home decor was cat-themed, and she had a strange fascination with collecting plates with cats painted on them…
Judith Powell: Following her kidnapping by Jeb and Willie Redfern, Judith had a security system installed at her house for not only her safety, but the safety of her family. If people were willing to go after her to get revenge for her sentencing their relative to prison for MURDER, she didn’t doubt that some people would be willing to go after her family, including her daughter. Call her paranoid, but Judith sleeps more easily after the security system is installed
Clémentine Lebrun: She never took Hugo’s surname when they got married. Since she aspired to be a judge, she wanted her name to be the one that bore the title. Hugo respected and supported her decision, never pressuring her to change her name and was one of the first people to call her “Judge Lebrun” after her promotion. Clémentine appreciates her ex-husband honouring her wishes and how he always calls her “Judge Labrun” in court since he knows the title means more to Clémentine than a simple formality
Am I making headcanon to delay working on my next chapter because I have no energy for it? Maybe…😶
I’m getting to that point in my writing where I’m SO CLOSE to the end, I can almost see it, and I’m starting to have to drag myself to the finish line!😭 I would love to finish it before the new year, but that might not happen. If not, it hopefully won't be long after that!
I’ll get around to writing the next chapter soon! I have the outline made, so now I just need to write it! Simple, right?
Wrong!😫
At least I’ve gotten more headcanons done and answered some asks in my inbox!✨
