finally listened to the mechanisms since they've been all over my dashboard once again, and the fucki g gut punch when the goddamn archivist stArted talking .
wtf donyou mean johnny sims is from over there too?? and somehow the tone of introducing ulysses is the same as the statements. same thing diffrent decade? i guess?
#its interesting looking at shared themes#because you can tell what ideas Jonny has had rattling in his head for ages#or what ideas he wanted to elaborate on#he wants to talk about eldritch horror and space and how the love didn't change anything but it mattered anyway and also queer people#(as far as I understand it Jonny wrote most of the songs but the storytelling was collaborative in the Mechs)#(so full credit to the other crew members many of who also have their own projects now you should absolutely check out)#(the person who plays Nikola and the Toy Soldier has some of my favorite songs possibly ever to her name)
