what's interesting is that if you look at it, ainsley is actually malcolm's most toxic relationship in his adult life, not martin.
malcolm has boundaries with his dad--shaky, but they're there. he's walked away from his dad before and he's always prepared to do it again if martin plays with him too much
malcolm has no boundaries with ainsley. if she so much as smiles and bats her eyelashes, he crumbles every time. the only reason he even lies to her about endicott is to protect her mentally and emotionally, and he is prepared to lie everyone else in his life, no matter the detriment to his sanity, to protect her from multiple murder charges. even when she doesn't think she wants it, even when she doesn't appreciate it, even when she manipulates him right back, he would never walk away from her the way he has martin.
and sure you could say martin killed 20 plus people, ainsley only killed one, but malcolm turned martin in, while he was prepared to take the fall for ainsley. and while we never got to see it, the sibling fallout from malcolm killing martin would've been vicious

while gathering pictures of edwin covered in blood i noticed something!!

pretty much the whole time he’s in hell, it’s like THIS ^ with his non-bloody side in shadows, UNTIL charles comes

and then it’s like THIS ^ with his bloody side in shadows
i haven’t studied cinematography or anything but that’s definitely intentional

Hastur sat unnoticed for a moment in The Bentley in S1, during which time he was able to get so close to Crowley that he was able to take his glasses off him. That only happened because Crowley clocked a bit of blond beige in his peripheral vision and mistook him for Aziraphale. I think it's worth reiterating what this scene told us about Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship through how Crowley reacted when he thought the person in the car was Aziraphale.
Hastur got the glasses because Crowley-- a jumpy cat who, as a result of an ungodly amount of trauma, doesn't like people in his space-- is intuitively comfortable with Aziraphale enough that he isn't bothered by Aziraphale reaching over to touch him. He trusts Aziraphale completely.
Hastur got the glasses because Crowley didn't see it as unusual that, in the relative privacy of the car, Aziraphale's greeting upon arriving-- especially after dealing with a scary separation like the discorporation-- would be to say hello by drifting his hand over to affectionately touch Crowley's face.
Hastur got the glasses because, for Crowley, the feeling of the back of Aziraphale's index finger caressing his cheekbone-- as Hastur creepily did in the scene-- was not an unusual feeling. Aziraphale touching him gently like that is so normal for them that Crowley did not clock anything as off.
It was not until Crowley felt the hand begin to lift the stem of his glasses that he realized something was wrong.
It was only when Hastur lifted the glasses that Crowley startled, tensed, raised an eyebrow, and began to turn to look.
Hastur lifting the glasses off of Crowley's face was what alerted Crowley to something being wrong because that was the first part of any of this that was just not something that Aziraphale would do.
It shows that Crowley knew that, unlike the story's contrasting parallel of Hastur? Aziraphale would never remove Crowley's glasses without first asking for his permission.

Good Omens season 3/thought of the day:
Do you think we’ll get to see Crowley cry again? But even more emotional than season 1? Like just a proper can’t take it anymore moment? Alone in his apartment broken down? Or worse, holding Aziraphale after something happens to him.
Remember that scene in Doctor Who when The Doctor is cradling The Master?
You don’t hire David Tennant and not utilise these acting chops.

The fact that Rio literally was just on the Road to spend time with Agatha. Yeah she needed Billy to come to her willingly but the rest? She would've get the bodies either. So everything else was just for fun. And Agatha.
She is a cosmic being. So you want to tell me she really couldn't choose to appeare or not? She is above everything, so she choosed to appeare
Like that whole scene where she is on the run with the others in episode 5? Totally unnecessary. She's Death, they can't do anything to her. She would've get them. Sitting at the fire with the others? She could've just disappear again. But she didn't.
She waited for Agatha to return. She looked out for Agatha and she stayed because of Agatha.
And this?
She only left because Agatha asked her to. Not like the other few times in the last episodes. For Rio she made it very clear that Agatha is done with her (while her look after Rio left says something completly diffrent).
So again. Rio stayed only at the Road becaus of Agatha.

The miracle gesture for clarity/the truth of a situation being to bring down what was up and to then draw back the curtain really feels like the entire story in a movement.

Do you have any idea how much psychic damage I got when the Twelfth Doctor said, "The day you lose someone isn't the worst. It's all the days they stay dead." Do you have any idea. I need to be fucking sedated.

I love how Michael Sheen, in a recent interview, tells how he put weight to play prince Andrew and Nye, and how offended he feels when an article says, "Sheen, who seems to be wearing a fat suit". His reaction is, "how dare you? This is ALL ME!!". People often misinterpret it as "he is ashamed". He is not. He is proud of his body, as he should. And we love a bit more Sheen to hug in our thoughts.

sometimes i think about how for the entire journey, boromir was so protective of the hobbits, especially merry and pippin, and clearly cared for them immensely. and then when he was under the influence of the ring he said to frodo, "curse you, and all the halflings." then after that, when frodo and the ring were gone, after he was back to being himself, he protected merry and pippin with his life. it just shows how much he was not himself when the ring was corrupting him, and how the corruption didn't really show his true feelings. and it makes me SO emotional
