My sister sent me this episode of H3H3 podcast starring Ethan Klein and Oliver Tree. They were kind of adorable. Cartoony and plush. They remind me of my sisters and I arguing as kids growing up. Plus they fight each other for a few seconds.

Rooftops and store front in Japan. 

1-2 hour water color paintings during a trip before the pandemic. Really missed painting still life and made it a goal that trip to get back into it.  It’s hard not to make mistakes when painting still life or pleinair. Water color is very light yet permanent once it is put on paper. There is little to no room for correction. This is probably why all my friends got into gouache instead. It’s brighter and a bit more flexible in terms of fixing mistakes. The first one I sat on pavement across the street from the store. And I sat at Starbucks in Kyoto for the 2nd one rooft top piece. Maybe because I was sitting more comfortably it turned out better.
