My ex’s Therapist give me some bomb advice once. She told me, “Don’t be anyone’s sun, meaning, don’t feel like you need to be the source of anyone’s energy. Sometimes that’s too much to bear. Now you also don’t want to be anyone’s moon, meaning, sont ever let anyone leave you in the dark, or become a reflection of someone else.” Like that shit hit me so deep.
