When Your Thinking Needs a Reboot 💭

This Guy TIM. 

I’ve been up since 2AM, I was working on some things, I typically work during those hours since I work with American Clients (I’m in Manila) then I took a little break and was just scrolling on some news to read, just me wondering what’s going on planet Earth, when all of a sudden new came up that AVICII has passed away!

At first I thought it must be some hoax page/site or some satirical page/site that was just fucking around, then I’ve confirmed from a legitimate news/information source that Tim Bergling a.k.a AVICII has died in Oman at the age of 28!

I totally froze! I was just staring blankly in the monitor, and was trying, trying very hard to process what I was reading. I shut the site down, and shut down all my social media tabs, apps even notifs. I was still fantasising that this was just all just a big joke. 

TIM more popularly known as AVICII, is a super talented, off the roof DJ/Producer! I have looked up to him and has been a fan of his work for a decade now! A few years back I went to DJ school, cuz I wanted to make music and DJ, I was asked by one of my mentors in the studio who are the people that inspire me the most, who are they and what sound do they make that inspire you? Off the bat I said AVICII (and other DJ/producers) but he was at the top of the list of people in the industry who inspired me the most!

When he announced that he would be retiring from the scene but not the music it was a lil sad, cuz I enjoyed watching him live! He just has so much charisma and talent that gives you so much good vibes! But I was happy to take the fact that he would still be making fantastic music! Which he delivered and recently just came out with a new EP, when that EP dropped I was like DAYUUMMM he is back!! I was ready for some more of his good stuff! Everything on that EP was FIRE! 

Earlier I was so scared to open my IG, because I knew it would blow up with so much of AVICII, but I did it, i opened my IG, and low behold I was right! My Ig was just grieving! I realised a few things, my most if not all of the people I follow and follow me are all connected to EDM, are DJs, DJ/Producers, MCs and that it made one thing so clear! Tim has made such an impression in music, in the entire industry of music, that every single person in my IG and Twitter were all grieving and sending love to those TIM has left, to his, family and friends in the industry.

Whilst I was scrolling I didn’t notice I was tearing up a little bit and definitely all choked up! I could feel the grief and love exuding from the many people who are sad and are sending love because of Tim’s passing, the last time I remember something like this was when Michael Jackson passed away. Obviously Tim was not only an amazing DJ/Producer, he was a great man that many loved, and will continue to love even without him being physically with us.

I guess this line in one of his songs, is just very timely, “One day you’ll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember.” and I hope he had a fantastic memorable one! RIP Tim Bergling! You will be terribly missed, and forever loved. You are immortal thru your music!

ABOUT ME

So... I’m back in tumblr, and I might be doing this for a while, maybe even for good, depends on how this all turns out for me. I decided to come back because well, I wanted to start blogging again, or well “blogging-ish” I’m no professional blogger hence I’m blogging here and not in traditional blogging sites that most bloggers use. 

Besides, I think . the tumblr platform is easy to use, and the best platform especially for non-pro blogging people like me, not that I’m no techie (cuz I am), I’m just not patient. Anyway so, HI! I’m Michael AKA AsianNvddles, I am superstar, millionaire wannabe! XD 

I am a 33 year old son and brother/sister whichever you want me to be, I like to cook, bake and play video games ( A LOT OF VIDEO GAMES ), also I love to travel, discover the world and it’s inhabitants. I am an adventurer, a foodie, and I’m also very moody! XD 

I love music, if you can see from my previous AGED posts, I listen to a lot of edm, and well... anything that I find cool is going to my rotation in spotify or apple music for sure. I went to DJ school, I am sorta a DJ ( well when I get a gig/booking then I am a DJ ) Otherwise I just stay at home and work, I work online freelance for different companies mostly SME/start ups and yeah I work they pay me I’m good! haha.

I am a human being in constant search for the meaning of life, love and aliens ( I am very sure there are Aliens out there ) I have no religion, but I believe in a higher power, a being above me that observes and and is a spectator of what happens in in our lives. I believe in destiny and that everything happens when it needs to when it has too.

Cliché; I am the best gay friend you’ll ever have and the worst bitch you’ll ever cross paths with! haha ( Don’t we all love saying that XD ) I love me some Lady Gaga, I think she is a gift to man and music, I also follow other queens like Bey, Riri, Nicki and Cardi, and Maybe Taytay too? haha

I hate discussing politics and religion, I don’t fucking know why a lot people still don’t get it, that political and religious views, beliefs or stances are things you cannot force to other people, YOU DO YOU I DO ME!

I love Avocados and Mangoes! Well I like fruits in general, and veggies except Okra, I don’t like that it’s slimy. I love meat especially pork, and who doesn’t love BACON! But I am slowly getting into the “healthy eating zone” as I am not getting any younger and don;’t want to regret the after effect of my abuse to my body later on.

I am an advocate of HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and testing, I am a volunteer, counsellor and peer educator for HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, it is important to me because my community is greatly affected by it, not to mention I have lost friends because of it, and have no plans of losing more.

I live in the irritating, annoying country of the Philippines, it’s irritating and annoying because, the country and it’s people are so backwards and many ways, but know that I have sincere and deep love for this country, I guess that’s why it frustrates me when I see fucked up by it’s people and it’s leaders. 

I love Davao CIty, I spent 6 amazing years there, attended and finished my college education there, and have met the best friends of my life. Tho I am a “Manila Boy” Davao is very dear to me maybe even dearer than how I feel for Manila, Davao to me is PARADISE.

I’m currently single, yes I went there. XD - And I don’t have anything to expound on that matter, cuz I honestly don’t know why I am single, been single for a few years now, maybe I’m just so stuck in building myself and tend to not pay attention to boys? Or having a parter? Strangely I long for it , sometimes I day dream about it. But after the dream and I remember I need to be a billionaire soon, I forget everything, and when I play with my dogs I don’t feel that lonely anymore. LOL

Well, I guess thats mostly me, I’m pouring my heart out here because I just really need an outlet to.. well let things out. Anyway BYE, ‘til next time.

#1.1 iPhone entry

So this is just really a test entry, just checking if i would be really capable of writing or doing anything with my mobile phone.
