(The being tilts their head? slightly.) "Hmm.. you must be having a dream, then. Even so... I do wonder why your subconscious has brought you here."

Y-Yeah...

(They look off to the side for a second, pondering their current situation. The person said this place doesn't exist... yet they're here anyways? How did their subconscious bring them here even?)

Can you... tell me about this place? If it is nothing" like you say.. then how is it even possible that I'm here?

"My dear... who brought you here? This place does not exist." (The statues eyes light up in in different colors, though dim. You can kind of make out a figure sitting atop the statue at the very end of this room. They have their legs? crossed.)

(Kiwi takes a step back, shielding their eyes from the sudden lights, before looking up at the statue, and the person in general. They clear their throat and give as much of a smile as they can, one hand going behind their back.)

I-I'm not sure how I got here..! One moment I was sleeping, the next I'm... here!

SCREAMS

A-Ah-! Are- Are you okay? Why are you screaming?

[ask-bard-wandersong]

(A faint whisper echoes through the room like a gentle breeze.) "Oh, dearest..." (The whisper can be heard from no particular place. Could it be coming from a statue? Either way, it definitely doesn't sound human... in fact, it doesn't sound like anything you've ever heard in your life. Did you even hear the whisper in the first place? Does it exist? Does 'here' exist...?)

(The talking makes the small bard jump a little in place, looking around at the many statues. Did... Did the statue just talk? He wasn't sure what to think of the voice, but this person may be friendly, so they take their chance.)

H-Hello!! Hi!! I'm- I'm Kiwi! Would- Would you mind... telling me where I am?

(It's quite lonely here, though that watching feeling still lingers... Statues of what are likely gods are lined up before you, each of them a different colored stone. Their forms are oddly incomprehensible to a mind such as yours. The darkness of this place makes it so only their outlines could be seen.)

(As they finally spot the statues, they relish in the fact of finding something in this suffocating darkness, feeling almost mesmerized by their forms, even if it gives them a slight headache just looking at them. Still though, they can't bring themselves to tear their eyes away..)

Woah...

H-Hello? Are you the ones who brought me here..?

(They start walking slowly towards the statues, feeling a little embarrassed when they finally realize they are statues, not actual people.)

(You're teleported somewhere dark, somewhere ominous, somewhere... too open. You feel as though someone is watching you.)

Wh- Wha-?

(They look around, the sensation of being watched burns right through them as they look around the dark anxiously, not seeing a thing.)

h-H-Hello? Is- Is anyone there?

(Their voice falters for a moment. The ominous feeling creeps up their back, garnering a shudder going down their spine as they swallow hard. Taking a deep breath, they begin to hum a quiet tune, just to calm their overactive nerves.)

Would you mind if I just *silently collects the feathers awkwardly around the two*

(They're more focused on helping Audrey.)

AH- Oh- Oh gosh-

(Kiwi quickly ran up to Audrey as she slams into their house. They can worry about the damage later, what's important is getting her inside at least.)

(Trying to stand Audrey up, they slung her arm around them, other arm holding her right under her other arm.)

C-Can you fold in your wings?

(I see angst.... Audrey it is!) A peaceful night in langtree, most are settled to sleep. Storms start to approach on the horizon and rain pelts hard downwards on the roof and into a few windows. It's not too scary or awful until a horrible thud on the ceiling sounds out. Something big falls by the window but you can't make out what it is this late at night... (@crimson-crew )

(At this time of night, the bard was sound asleep, but the sudden encroaching storm brought nightmares to their dreams, awaking them with a panicked gasp.)

(They jolted up right in bed, looking around frightfully, sighing with relief that their nightmare was not reality.)

(As they laid back down to sleep again, the horrible thud against their roof practically startled them out of bed, they themselves thudding against the floor with a yelp.)

Wh- What was that???

(They tiredly ask to no-one in particular. Standing up, they approached the window to identify what just hit their roof, but they, couldn’t see anything past the darkness of night.)
