Good evening, Mr. Shepard.

I would just like to... clarify something about my outburst a while ago. My friends are allowed to have other friends and I am in no way... jealous of any friendship between you and Reeves. I fear I came off as, ugh- possessive, and I'd rather you not have the wrong idea about the kind of man I am. Ugh, I sounded like a schoolgirl. Consider this an... apology of sorts. Besides, I'm sure you know more about him than I do, you've know the fellow longer.

Anyways, as a sort of olive branch, I- I would like to ask if you'd want to come foraging with me. See, I'm- well this embarrassing, but I don't know much about plants. Please understand it's not my fault! I- hmph, never-mind, that's on a need-to-know basis. Just- I know you know a lot about this sort of thing and I- I would appreciate the help and the company.

Did you ever garden with your mom, or were you not allowed to?

“i was usually too busy with tasks that my father had given me. he kept me as occupied as he could so i didn’t step foot in the garden, but i did it despite his wishes. i learned a lot from my mom. she’d know everything about the plants in this place.”

Why would you join Jack's tribe if you hate him

i figured this ask was easier to ask as not franklin, since he isn’t there in the plot line yet lol. he doesn’t, to make the answer very brief. he doesn’t choose to join, but he is instead forced by jack to join. it was an exchange for his life. he still hates jack, but i’ve found that when your life is on the line, you’ll do what it takes to survive. if you have any other questions, i’d be happy to answer them.

“i quite like the people that i’ve met. they’re all so…different? i wish i had met them under different circumstances. i’m sure they’re much different when they’re back at home. nicer, maybe?

i can’t say i like jack very much. or ralph. they’re both loud and wrong most of the time. i don’t think they’re going to get everyone off of the island alive, but i don’t think that’s their goal. i think they just want themselves home alright.”

what was your dad like?

“he was…. in charge of the army’s strategic planning. he was a tough father to have, i’m not quite sure that he knew how to love a kid like a dad should. we were cadets to him. he used to wake me up every morning at 5 am and wouldn’t let me sleep until 9 pm. he trained me like he would a soldier. i do miss him, though. i suppose people were right when they said you never know what you have until it’s gone.”

Do you have a favorite book?

“um… i’m not as well read as others, like ernst. it took me a while to learn how to read, actually. i like the italian by ann radcliffe. my niece’s governess gave it to me a while ago from her personal library. it was good, i guess.”

What's your favorite flower, or just favorite plant,?

“all of the flowers here are rather repetitive. they’re the same boring things over and over again. my favorites back home were sweetpea flowers. grapevines are probably my favorite plants, although they sort f grow out of control. my mom knows a lot about plants, she had a really thick book full of types of plants and she taught me a lot. i wish i had brought it with me, it might have been helpful here.”

what is your opinion on richard?

“there are things that scare me more than a bunch of flies. i know fear well, almost too well. jude read a prophecy in the blood and heart of a pig, whatever that means. he’s been acting rather strange lately, i don’t know if he’s well or not. staying close to him may be my best bet. no matter how much i dislike him, i must admit, he knows how to take care of himself.”

[ A light shake awake Franklin in the middle of the night. The fire was out, and before he could say anything he was hushed. ]

“Shh !”

[ Gentle hands took him roughly away from the group of sleeping boys, abit further in the forest. The tip of the handmade spear glistening in the moonlight and he knew who it was. ]

“Before you ask, I am not telling you where I am. I am in a safe place, tell Asa Norman is with me. I can’t trust you with Littluns and sick ones.”

[ Kikita shot him a lightly accusatory glare them reluctantly added. ]

“You have to help me. Vincent isn’t strong enough to carry food and walk all accross the Island. He is weak. But I need your help. You’ll meet me by the old place where the “Beast” hides.”

[ After the stern tone that leaves no room for statement, her gaze and demeanor softened, but remained somehow wary. ]

“…Don’t be upset. I will come back. I don’t want you to be mad at me.. I have to protect the Littluns first.. And you may be a threat.”

[ beside the hard words, a hand slides a handmade floral bracelet of flowers and vines. it wasn’t the best, sure. ]

“Take care of yourself, and Wilbur, and others.”

[ She hesitates and bit his cheek. ]

“Please do come, I will be grateful but please don’t search for me, I’ll come out when I want”

“I have no time anymore, I have to go back.”

[ She suddenly spin him and push him then run away to confuse him and avoid being followed. Gone, again. ]
