"Yeah, seems like it..." The red-haired male sighs, crossing his arms with a mild frown. He didn't like that so many people were forced to stay in this place, and yet most of them couldn't do anything but accept their new lives... It was disheartening, to say the least.

Being unaware of how he fell silent, Jin opens his eyes once more, noticing how the shy baker (@ask-idv-baker) is still there.

"AH- Sorry! Didn't mean to be rude!! I'm Jin, the martial artist of...! Uhhh... Actually, just- A fighter, yeah. Who are you?"

"Thank you! I can't say that it's the same case for everyone, but having a good workout routine and eating healthy has helped me a lot! That's the path a holy knight must follow, after all."

The smell of the pastry instantly hits him as he takes the muffin from the baker's hand, and man, does it smell good. "Thanks again, Beth!!" He replies before giving it a bite.

As soon as he swallowed the bit, the fighter couldn't help but be amazed at the flavor, unsure when was the last time that he got the chance to taste something so simple yet delicious. Is she really human?!?!?

"Woah..." Still processing how good the muffin is, the taller one surprising doesn't say much.

"Interesting indeed..." He nods in agreement, intrigued at the mention of her being part of the military as that's something the red-eyed man could respect, she does look like a strong woman after all.

A part of him wants to ask a little further, opening his mouth for a second before quickly closing it, frustrated. Maybe it'd be best to discuss her culture with her directly.

"So, besides her." The so-called mercenary continues. "I've heard about a pair of twins, something about them being eldritch horrors I believe? Isn't that a little too much for this place?"

"Judging by your appearance, you look like you have some information about everyone in this place, yes?"

Asin approaches the news reporter rather calmly, staring at him with a neutral expression. "... What's your price?"

"There's no price other than different circumstances in privacy consent." The Reporter replies, interested of what would someone need from an archive of one’s files.. if not, anyone specific as well.

He smiles, wondering who this new face is. A fellow comrade... or some unknown storm?

"What is your objective, good sir?"

Where did you all come from before you where sent to the manor?

"We were on the Underworld. I'm not sure if you have seen it before, as there's many places named like that from what I've read... Ahhh, what a mess..."

The poor woman sighs in defeat, feeling a headache just by remembering all the research she's done. Book after book, Rin went through what she could find to no avail- None of those described anything similar to what she's used to.

"As most underworlds, the one we came from is the land of the dead, where all souls go and await for judgement. However, that's not the reason we went there."

The corner of his mouth twiched for a second, mildy irritated by the joyful attitude coming from the blue-eyed one. "Yeah, there's a few..." Even then, Asin has enough common sense to mask it, simply looking around the room.

Mentally recalling those who caught his interest, he made a small list on top of his head.

"Got anything on Sundel Bolong?"

Phew, at least the brown-haired one was understanding, that's a huge relief. And she's also a baker? Sweet! Jin feels like he won the lottery on nicest people to first encounter.

He got excited at the mention of baked goods, now that's one hell of a way to start. "Really?!?! Let's eat some, then! Food always tastes better when shared."

He hums in response, not really surprised by the other's reply, it made sense after all: Not everyone would be fond of having their personal information at the hands of someone else. Luckily, that's not what he's interested in.

"Hm, I see... You don't need to worry, then.~" A slight smile makes its way to his face, rather confident in his words. "I'd like to be familiar with people, just in case, and with how many of them I've heard of... You can understand why I'd rather save me some trouble and read the basics about them, yes?"

The so-called priestess is surprised by the question, trying to smile and not look rude. "Well... It doesn't help much to satiate my stomach, heh..."

"This food is similar as what we had back at home! It's very comforting."

"Eh, had better before." He shrugs, not being exactly fond of plain food. However, after thinking for a moment, he grins. "The beans are quite good, tho. Right, uncle Jin?"

"Why do you seem so happy all of a sudden...?!"

"Mhm, that's right!" The short knight confirms with a smile, rather optimistic. "If you didn't tell me, I wouldn't have ever guessed that this place is a manor. Finding the others is going to be a journey on its own..."
