“Greetings, I must admit your enthusiasm comes as quite the shock but it is a welcome surprise. It’s always either an angry bloke or that rich twit coming in here. For my personal life, it’s been splendid. The other members of the agency have started to take on cases all by themselves. I have used that time to take on some other interests. One of them has been sailing. Everyone looks at me quite strangely every time I put on my outfit unfortunately.”

Inference narrowed his eyes is slight confusion before picking up the flowers and tipping his detective hat.

“I am sure he would be delighted to receive these. I will make sure White receives these immediately. I hope you have a good day yourself!”

He spoke with a straight face. He didn’t crack a smile even once.

“Mr. Inference! I think I was able to find some new clues on that missing jewelry case we were working on!” The sound of rushed footsteps announced the presence of a very excited Lady Truth, waving a small file around like it was a winning lottery ticket. “Is it a good time to show you?”

Despite his words, Mr. Inference was hitting the pose that a disappointed teacher does when they come back and hear a substitute was given a hard time.

“Now, what is it, Miss Truth? Fingerprints? A witness account?”

He opens the door. "Mail? It had better not be more spam from that, DM! If I see anything from that...thing, I am burning every bloody letter I see from him!" He then took notice to the dog. "Oh...my apologies for the rant. What have you brought me today?"

You find a box full of fresh pastries in front of your office door, and while there isn't a note attached, there's text on the box that reads "Flour Meadough Bakery"

As Mr. Inference approached the box, he listens to hear if there is a bomb hidden in it. After not hearing anything, he checked with any semblance of poison. Inference internally analyzed the situation. "It seems as if this isn't an assassination attempt. Still, I have to be weary of gas being hidden. I don't feel nauseous yet. There doesn't appear to be any signs of a drug smuggling operation either. I will never forget the time someone tried to frame me with that."

Inference then took notice to the note. "The flour Meadough Bakery. I believe that I have heard of that from other survivors." He titled his hat towards his eyes by the cap. "It seems as if I slightly overreacted. The pastries seem well made. Perhaps after eating these, I should take a visit there."

WELCOME TO THE ORPHEUS DETECTIVE AGENCY

This is an ask blog for the idv characters that are apart of the Orpheus Detective Agency. Mainly Mr.Inference, Lady Truth, and White. You can also ask questions to Paranormal Investigator but he won't be my focus.

This blog will be filled with a lot of headcanons, so please do not take everything I post at face value and consider it canon. You're free to ask me for clarification on something if needed.

Mr. Inference noticed the coffin appearing in his office. This was a strange occurrence but, after everything he had been through, he was past the point of caring. He rushed to the coffin and opened it, fully expecting to see a victim of some crime. To his surprise, there lay a pipe bomb and note. Inference quickly tried to decypher the contents of the note.

Mr. Inference starts going over everything in his head. “So, someone is throwing this around? It is a miracle they haven’t been caught yet. Going off of the appearance, it is made with cheap materials for mass production. The person is either part of the military or is somehow capable of stealing from a government.”

He then sighed. “There is only one person who I know that is better with tech than I am.” He then carried the pipe bomb to Lockheart.
