It's been (a bit over) 10 years since I started the @kindghb ask blog (16th of August 2014) before moving it to @ask-kindghb (1st of July 2017) to allow more interactions with the fandom's wonderful creators. Due to C*vid and my own mental health being in jeopardy from the added world wide stress, I had placed the accounts on "temporary" hiatus until the world would feel better and I would be more stable. Who'd knew it'd take this long and still linger with another crisis coming right after. I am currently much more happy than I was few years back but these blogs were my everything while I was unemployed and struggling to keep things together. Now a days I am happily employed (for now at least, though it looks like the company ain't letting me go that easily) as a Quality Assurer. I miss my lovely lil Motherfuckers, but I'm afraid once I finish up the comic (that I started right before C*vid became a thing), I might close up the blogs. Possibly delete them. Or restart everything again. You never know. Still, I'm thankful to have had Fureur by my side for the past 10 years as my "Depression Troll". :o) (Legit drew him when ever I was down in the dumps on critical levels ya'all. I highly recommend you to get a comfort character to draw/doodle to lift up your spirits!) It was an emotional journey to even draw him again as I remembered in what kind of a mental state I was then. It was daunting. And I'm so glad I had him and then friends of the fandom to keep me somewhat grounded, even if it wasn't real nor solid ground, it felt good to be able to know I had a place where I belonged. (Even if I was a horrible brat at times, I apologize for that, but thank you that you... stuck with me.) ;o) Love DCL

Hey, I'm alive, but this blog isn't coming back until things change.

Hi, it's been a bit over a year since the last update.

"So... What happened?"

"The big bad C-virus."

You know it, and you hate it. If you don't believe in it then you're a bigger clown than I am lil motherfucker.

Due to the cursed C-virus that bloomed late 2019, early 2020, I was placed in a bad spot. I knew this blog was a comfort blog for many of you, including myself, and what was coming up with the Trickster-Pop Comic, wasn't anything pretty. It was cullifying.

So, have I drawn it? No. I have not. It's "only 12 pages" long, I have the script done, and some of the pages sketched out, but that's about it. Why? Look up at the red text.

There's also these following facts:

My laptop died 2020, making me lose everything that wasn't copied to my outer drive in time.

I switched my drawing tablets after the laptop death and am still learning the new one on my new PC.

Fureur Makara was/is my "deep depression" coping character. He has been so since late 2014. Early 2020, I was feeling better before it happened and didn't have the need to draw him daily, it helping me let go of him and focus on other things.

Due to C-virus, my own support network dissipated COMPLETELY, so I had to keep holding onto what made me happy at that time. Drawing Fureur would've meant I was in that deep state of depression, which would've been life threatening to me, and at times when things got harder, it was.

"Will the comic ever come out?"

Yes, it might if I haven't lost it, but not until C-virus is most likely gone or the world is in better shape in general, I don't want to risk anyone getting more upset due to the Trickster-Pop Comic than they already are from the world happenings.

"Will the ask blog be open again?"

Only after the comic is done. If it never will, then the blog will most likely die here.

Never the less, I thank you all for these years, I wish you all are doing well and taking care of yourselves out there. I'm trying to do the same here myself. - Creator DCL

There has recently been multiple occasions of OC/Creator Harassment’s.

These kinds of actions are toxic behavior and should be stopped.

There’s fewer and fewer safe spaces for people to role play and have fun now a days. This fucking platform is HUGE, even after the 2018 NSFW purge. So if you by accident stumble upon something you do not like, ignore it and keep on scrolling. If it’s something your favorite creator is posting, install a “Tumblr Savior” on your browser and black list the keyword that pops up in the tags of the posts. Or unfollow.

Let creators have their fun, especially if there are multiple ones who are making stories with their RPs. Because the fact is, we’ve already lost so many. Fewer and fewer people are afraid to share their creations since they’re afraid this kind of shit would happen to them. More people are going for private conversations and that’s fine, but it also means that less things are shared with online friends and fandoms. More things come ‘inside jokes’ that soon no one will remember or understand anymore.

Stories and characters evolve fastest when the creators get to use them. Sometimes even in public, someone who’s caught up in the story but isn’t exactly part of it, might add/say something funny lighthearted thing just on a whim and the creators love it and make it happen canonically for their OC.

Creators are still people behind their screens. We’re not machines without feelings. We don’t just ‘pump out content’ like machines pump out reusable equipment’s. We use time and effort with most of our content, our skills and our own ideas to bring out something anyone liking the same kind of stuff could enjoy.

And if you don’t enjoy it, you’re not obligated to stop the person making it.

You’re obligated to turn the fuck around and walk away yourself over to the things you like and let the person be at peace with their own creations.

Everyone involved had fucking consented. We created a tag for the RP too so you could block it! But no. Your motherfucking COWARD ASS decided to bully Gena instead and make her feel unsafe.
