The two would hate each other so bad like SO bad, they’d have one singular conversation with each other and think the other was their bad end and that they lucked out not becoming like that.
Fun fact! Between the OG universe and the Toxic Wine AU, Water Lily’s personality is actually very different between them! This is because in the Toxic Wine AU, she stays more villainous/morally dubious and doesn’t have the associated trauma in the OG! She still masks her emotions like crazy (though, in two different directions) and has a weird understanding of love because some things never change even across universes. She’s also different because I find the different dynamic of enemies AND lovers equally as hot and fun as enemies to lovers I mean who said that.
