Scorpius looked down at the piece of parchment in his hand and crumpled it out of frustration. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and flattened it out again. Today was just another normal day and he wanted to surprise Rose Weasley with a song. She was always somewhat mesmerized whenever he sang to her. But today he couldn't write anything that would be good enough for her. He sighed and reread the piece of parchment that was lying in front of him.
Your best illusion is your smile
The little glimmer in your eyes
I'm not saying too much, am I?
Well this is where my heart lies
He groaned again, crumpling the parchment and tossing it in a garbage can across the room. Scorpius wanted to give Rose a song to show her how beautiful she was but now he thought that words just couldn't express her beauty. He figured he could do it another day and it'll prolly be time to meet Rose by the pier anyway.
Scorpius made his way to their meeting place and grinned to himself when he caught sight of her. He sat down next to her and greeted her with a kiss on her cheek. "Good afternoon, love."
@Scorpius
Rose smiled at the ground. She felt as though her heart was beating so fast it could stop any second. She glanced back up the bath from the castle, hoping to see a certain blonde boy, but alas, he wasn’t there yet. She fixed her skirt as she sat down on the pier, looking into the deep, dark waters of the lake. She let her mind wander as she seemed to lose herself in the stillness of the lake. It’s no surprise her mind wandered to her favorite person in the world. She thought back to their fourth year..
“Be there,” he whispered in her ear as he slid a piece of parchment into her hand. “And I’ll see you after class, Weasley.” “Same to you, Malfoy.” she said, standing on her tip-toes to give him a quick kiss before heading off to DADA. That night, they met up by the lake for the first time since their first year. The two of them stayed up ‘til dawn, staring at the stars and talking. This had been their meet up spot ever since.
She smiled to herself, so lost in thought that she didn’t hear the foot steps approaching or the creaking of the pier as she was joined by her blonde ferret boy..

He chuckled. It was nice being with Rose. After the past few fucked up months, the two needed each other. Scorpius felt like at least the two of them could escape from everything fucked up and enjoy each other. They were inseparable. The only thing that was missing was Albus and Scorpius hadn't seen him for almost a year.
"I haven't done anything at all yet, actually." He looked over at Prof. Longbottom eyeing him and rolled his eyes at him. He chuckled and directed his attention back to Rose. He smirked at her and said, "So, what do you say about ditching the rest of the day and just run off anywhere but here?"
@Scorpius
“I finished a few days ago and turned it in a little early,” she said and took his hand as she sat down, pulling him down with her. “And how’s your’s going?” She asked, turning toward him slightly and smiling. She was glad that their relationship was back to normal; she had missed the teasing and late night walks around the castle more than she cared to admit. But most of all, she had missed having Scorpius with her all the time. Sitting here on the couch with him was just so perfect, it seemed surreal. She hoped she didn’t mess things up this time, he needed her as much as she needed him.

After Professor Longbottom woke him up, Scorpius groaned and rolled his eyes. "Thank you for waking me up, Professor. It's not like I actually got any sleep last night." He gave him a sarcastic nod accompanied by a grin as he walked away.
He looked over at Flint's son, who is his seatmate's paper, and groaned once again. He'd forgotten about the essay they had to do.
And so he decided to go to his favorite Weasley who seemed preoccupied staring into space. He walked in front of her and cleared his throat. As he heard Rose's comment, he rolled his eyes and she stood up to give him a hug. He chuckled and returned her embrace, burrying his face into her hair. "So love, how's your essay going?"
@Scorpius
Rose looked into the mirror one last time and tucked a long curl behind her ear before leaving the girl’s dormitory. She stopped as she exited, quickly glancing at the portrait of Snape, which eyed her suspiciously as she hurried down the corridor. She slowed down her pace to a slow walk as she neared the common room, her heart starting to race as she looked around for the familiar blonde boy..
She didn’t see Scorpius anywhere, just a few other seventh-years hurrying to finish a Herbology essay on the effects of Gillyweed that was due the next day. Rose, of course, had finished it days prior and turned it it, earning a smile and a remark about how much she was like her mother from Neville.
Rose heard someone clearing their throat, and looked up to see her favorite Malfoy smiling down at her. “Oi, you’re blocking my view of the lovely wall, you ferret,” She said as she smirked up at him. She held back a giggle as he rolled his eyes and she stood up and hugged him tightly.
