Virtual Holy Grail War - EVENT: TOWER FALL - [ Caster, Invader, Berserker, Assassin and Saber ]

Off in the distance, the Tower rumbled…

Tired of sitting. Tired of waiting. The princess stepped up to the window, raising her fingers to the moonlight. Mechanical joints gave way to pink flesh as they were illuminated, and sparks of lightning trailed from her fingers, before the sky thundered with the might of the the gods.

This was the purpose of the Tower. An ancient curse to bring ruin to those around it.

'PRINCESS': "Bow, mortals. Bow, humanity. Accept your ruin as king."

On the ground, the battle raged on.

It didn't seem as if Berserker and Assassin were too used to working with one another- or at the very least Assassin wasn't exactly a 'team player', and that lack of coordination was just what the alleged 'Invader'-class needed, as she managed to keep up with the assault with a wicked grin on her face.

WUKONG-RITSUKA: "Come on, Altera! I know there's more to you than destruction!"

The sound of footsteps cut him off, as a confident voice cut through the air.

MERLIN: "It's no use. The 'Invader'-class is an artificial class designed for one who exists purely for the sake of destroying this place. Even if the Heroic Spirit Altera has her own desires, she'll never be able to overcome her desire for destruction like this. In other words, there's not much that talking can do, Fujimaru."

SHUTEN-DOUJI: "Who are you? Some sort of onmyouji? How arrogant you are, waltzing in late and acting like you know everything. Maybe I should filet you instead?"

MERLIN: "Hahaha, well, that's enough chatter for now. Just get ready to fight- things are definitely going to get a bit chaotic!"

As if on cue, the thunder from the Tower rumbled louder this time, dark storm clouds growing over the inky blackness of the sky, the scent of ozone filling the air as the Tower itself creaked, sparks beginning to fly from the building proper as it built up energy. An oppressive wave echoed out from it, causing all of the nearby Servants to wince and briefly stumble in weakness and terror.

Atli paused, before looking up towards the looming stormclouds.

ATLI: "I see… this Tower… for the world to progress, this world needs to end. Come, Caster… let us become one, let us bring ruin to this place!"

She laughed, though the Tower had no intention of working alongside her. This assault was indiscriminate, and would potentially be disastrous to everyone involved without the proper precautions. However, this fact aside, Atli charged forward with a bloodthirsty roar.

It seems like Assassin, Saber and Berserker are figuring out how to play nice with each other... direct percentage demerits have lost effect against each other, but some negative traits still remain...!

It seems like Atli has gotten stronger... is she adapting to battles against Heroic Spirits...?

If the Tower gains first place, it will unleash it's true Noble Phantasm, causing immense damage to every Servant present!

With score augmentations, the final scores will be....

Merlin: -42%

Wukong-Ritsuka: -37%

Shuten-Douji: -36%

Atli: -6%

(SABER) MERLIN

Illusion Arts (A Rank) - The incredible skill related to creating and maintaining illusions. When fighting one-on-one, the opponent suffers a 5% demerit to their poll results. When fighting in a Free-for-All, both opponents suffer a -7% demerit instead.

Dreamlike Charisma (A Rank) - A strong charisma belonging to leaders and kings, also possessed by the incubus Merlin. In a Free-for-All, he gains a +4% boost to his poll results, reduced to 2% during a one-on-one.

(BERSERKER) WUKONG-RITSUKA

HP: 1/4

MP: 3/6

RUIN - 2/?

Rampage (B Rank) - When engaged in a Free-for-All, gain an extra 3% boost to final poll results, and when engaged in a one-on-one, increase the bonus to 12% rather than 10%.

Taoist Techniques (Stargazer) (A Rank) - While normally this skill would be of the highest rank, in this vessel has been replaced with the uncanny ability to 'know the names and skills of opposing Servants’. Wukong-Ritsuka gains a persistent +3% bonus to his final poll results, and demerits against him are reduced in effectiveness by 3%.

Berserker-class Trait: When engaged in a Free-for-All, deal 1 point of damage to every Servant regardless of placement, but take 2 points of damage if you end up in last place.

ASSASSIN (SHUTEN-DOUJI)

HP: 2/3

MP: 0/5

RUIN - 1/?

Intoxicating Aroma of Fruits (A Rank) - An intoxicating aroma emanating from Assassin, working as a composite 'Charisma' and 'Charm' skill. Opponents going against Shuten gain a -5% demerit to their final poll results.

Demonic Nature of Oni (A Rank) - A skill that represents the chaotic, monstrous power of oni. Grants her a persistent +5% boost to her poll results when fighting one-on-one, and +7% when in a Free-for-All.

Oni's Head (EX Rank) - The ability to continue fighting, even if one suffers a fatal wound. If HP is reduced to 0 during a standard Combat Poll, then Shuten regains 1 HP and this skill is taken away.

(INVADER) ATLI

HP: 1/5

MP: 5/5

Tactics (B Rank) - A keen mind and commanding ability, especially when dealing with dangerous foes. When engaged in combat, gain a +9% boost to her poll results.

Natural Body (D Rank) - Demerits against her have their effectiveness reduced by 8%.

Crest of the Star (EX Rank) - When engaged in combat, gain a +13% boost to his poll results, increased to 18% when in a one-on-one. If this Servant loses against another Servant, if the gap between scores is larger than 2%, she will inflict a point of damage against her opponent regardless. If victorious by more than 5%, regain 1 HP.

Magical Energy Absorption (Unranked) - The effects of a stat-lowering Noble Phantasm used against her are halved, or if the Noble Phantasm has offensive traits, she takes on half of the boost for herself.

CASTER (THE TOWER)

HP: ?/?

MP: ?/?

'Inevitable Evil' (Rank A+) - An umbral shield, devoid of light, surrounds the tower, protecting it from incoming danger. It gains a +4% boost to the final poll results.

'Eternal Earthly Toil' (Rank A) - If there's less than a 5% difference between it's scores and another Servant, it avoids taking any damage that round.

'Warfare's Strife' (Rank B-) - Demerits lose their effectiveness against it, and it gains a +5% boost to her final poll results.

NOBLE PHANTASM - ???

All Servants take a -40% demerit to their scores, increasing by 3% by each amount of Ruin present. 'Mana Burst (Ruin)' is temporarily disabled.
