Lucie (Lucifer)

Used to be one of the most powerful and most beloved archangels in all of Heaven, where he would flaunt his abilities to the cheers of adoring crowds. He was a bit self-centered, but still a healthy and useful member of Heaven's Counsel. Or... So they thought. Once Heaven's attention turned towards their newest 'pet project' (humanity), something changed within Lucifer, slowly growing deeper and deeper within his being. Heaven's brightest star slowly shifted into an unnerving, angry attention seeker. He found it insulting that angels were expected to serve humanity. Humanity should be the ones serving them! Weren't angels far more capable? Wasn't he far more impressive? He could set fire to the world in an instant, and they can't even start a fire without banging rocks together. Lucifer refused to bow down to them, so why was the rest of Heaven so eager to? Heaven was worried about him, of course, but they brushed it off. Until one fateful day, Lucifer would do something that would change the course of all of Creation, forever.

Once Heaven sees how flawed humanity is, how easily they could be led astray, they'd finally see he was right! Right? ...Why did they all look so horrified?

He never stopped trying to think of ways to escape Hell and restore himself to his angelic form. After a few centuries, the other sins eventually gave up on ever getting out of here, but still follow Lucifer's plans because they have nothing better to do. (And Levi just likes watching him fail.)

When he fell, he had the apple with him. Somehow, he managed to get a few of the seeds to grow in Hell. That's why the Pride District has messed up looking apple orchards in it.

In his spare time, he enjoys baking apple flavored dishes. (He's actually quite good at it.)

The other sins started calling him, "Lucie." He hates this nickname, so now that's all they call him. (Hey, at least it's better than "Luser.")

He secretly does feel bad for getting the rest of them trapped down here with him, but his Pride stops him from apologizing or admitting this to the others.

His demonic form is actually an adorable fluffy feathered snake creature. He has no venom, and is completely harmless in this form, which infuriates him.

Asmo (Asmodeus)

The sin of Lust has had a pretty complicated history, so Asmo has been difficult to think of for a backstory. The basic premise is that Asmo just can't stand being alone, and he constantly feels like he needs a relationship in order to feel whole.

Belle (Bellephegor)

Was sent to Hell for knowing about what the other Sins were getting up to in Heaven, but not doing anything about it. Became lethargic ever since getting kicked out, often seen with messy hair, slippers, and a dirty lab coat. She enjoys making little inventions to do the work for her and create holograms of herself so she doesn't have to go to Lucie's meetings.

She's very fascinated by human technology. She finds it annoying that she'll always be slightly behind since the only way to view new technological advancements on Earth is to wait for modern humans to die.

She's taken a liking to French architecture and culture specifically. (Bellephegor was cited as "Hell's ambassador to France" in the Dictionnaire Infernal by Colin de Plancy.)

Levi (Leviathan)

Leviathan was a low ranking angel who wanted nothing more than to be promoted to the rank of Seraphim. Each day he worked tirelessly to prove himself to his superiors, but they never seemed to notice. Still, he continued working. Helping to place stars in the sky, change the weather, etc. One day, they were given a new angel to mentor named Ciel. Leviathan taught Ciel all about the endless skies and the stories behind every star. They laughed, played, shared their hopes and dreams, and soon enough, the higher angels noticed Ciel's amazing abilities. The higher angels agreed to give Ciel a chance to demonstrate his skills. Ciel performed the best of his abilities, which were all taught to him by Leviathan. The higher angels were impressed, and offered Ciel the chance to join their ranks, which he accepted proudly. But Leviathan felt something strange as they watched Ciel be promoted. A sort of twisting churning sensation in his stomach, as if the waves of the ocean were boiling inside him. And for once in his angelic life, Leviathan's smile did not feel genuine.

Workaholic, probably half the reason Hell keeps functioning.

Actually used to idolize Lucifer back when they were angels, which is why she was so eager to go along with Lucifer's plan. That was until his plan ended up getting them all thrown into Hell, and Leviathan realized that Archangel Lucifer is actually... an idiot.

Lucifer and Leviathan have a special type of rivalry/friendship. She makes sure to knock Lucifer down a few pegs every now and again just to keep him in check.

Has a lot of eel traits. (I know Leviathan is usually depicted as a giant sea serpent, but Lucifer already has the serpent traits down, and I think eels are really cool.)

Leviathan used to be scared of the ocean.

His demonic giant eel form is huge. Big enough to cause whirlpools and bite boats in half.

Has limited electrical abilities, but nothing crazy.

Browses internet drama during her free-time.

Mae (Mammon)

Used to manage the gold Heaven would use to make halos, but then started trading this gold with humanity in exchange for gemstones and other rare Earth items. Eventually this would cause humans to hunt certain creatures (like phoenixes) to extinction.

Has raccoon traits, including a long striped tail that she likes to wear like a feather boa.

At the end of her tail is a hand with a mouth in the center. Her tail can stretch long distances, making it easy to swipe items.

She often likes wearing expensive clothing and shiny jewelry.

Beel (Beelzebub)

I'm still sort of researching and plotting this one since I don't have a lot of personal experience with this one, apologies.

Has locust like traits, since locusts are known for eating more than their body weight in crops and causing massive famines.

Demonic form is probably a swarm of locusts.

Sadie (Satanus)

Was a general in Heaven's army. She wasn't afraid to fight for what she believed in, and wouldn't stop fighting until her opponent was struck down. One day, an innocent came begging for her help, which she agreed to do. But due to her relentless nature, she ended up going far beyond what the person she was helping wanted, and ended up hurting more innocent people in the process.

This blog is centered around seven fallen angels and the hi-jinks they get up to. I do plan on making a story with these characters some day. The basic plot is this: After thousands of years trapped in Hell, seven fallen angels are called upon by Heaven to stop the embodiment of Sin from destroying all of Creation. Will they grow as people? Will they learn lessons about friendship, redemption, and what it means to truly be 'good?' Will they save the world? Probably not! But hey, it's the thought that counts, right? Sit back, relax, and enjoy your final days! The fate of everything is in their hands...
