“Nice to meet you too Lady.” Logan said trying to come off as….if not friendly, then not hostile. “So, you’re from another universe? What’s that like?”

Logan walked in and sniffed the air. “Heya bub, long time no see. Who’s the lady?” He asked giving Ant-Mun a look.

“Hey, Logan,” Scott greeted as he looked between Logan and Ant-Mun, who had a look of awe on her face. Scott had seen that look a lot since she came to his world. “This is Ant-Mun, my best friend from another universe, believe it or not.”

“Home?” He asked as a deer walked up to Logan slowly. He hesitantly reached out, and patted it on its head.

“If you’d like darling, I could help.” Emma voice said inside Jean’s mind. “I believe I can use Cerebro to restore his memories. Since the damage is still fresh it shouldn’t take long.”

“Jean, come to my office. There’s been an incident.” Charle’s voice said in Jean’s head as the Blackbird landed in the hanger after a mission.

“Jean? You okay?” Scott asked concerned.

“She just got a message from Charles, Scott.” Emma huffed annoyed as she walked past them.

“We’ve got the jet.” Storm replies with a frown.

It’s not long till Jean’s in the office.

“What is it?” She asks.

“Safe…?” He asked slowly as he followed her out. Once outside he started to stand up straighter, sniffing the air to catch the scents, and his claws finally retracted. “…Canada…” he said after a moment. “Alkali…Lake…”

“Jean, come to my office. There’s been an incident.” Charle’s voice said in Jean’s head as the Blackbird landed in the hanger after a mission.

“Jean? You okay?” Scott asked concerned.

“She just got a message from Charles, Scott.” Emma huffed annoyed as she walked past them.

It’s not long till Jean’s in the office.

“What is it?” She asks.

It’s not long till Jean’s in the office.

Logan stand there stunned. Something about this girl seems…familiar. “Who…are…you?” He asked after a moment. “And…who…am…I?”

“Jean, come to my office. There’s been an incident.” Charle’s voice said in Jean’s head as the Blackbird landed in the hanger after a mission.

“Jean? You okay?” Scott asked concerned.

“She just got a message from Charles, Scott.” Emma huffed annoyed as she walked past them.

Stryker laughs weakly as he falls over. Dead.

Logan’s mind is too muddled to calm down. His claws extend and he snarls like an animal before slashing at her.

“Jean, come to my office. There’s been an incident.” Charle’s voice said in Jean’s head as the Blackbird landed in the hanger after a mission.

“Jean? You okay?” Scott asked concerned.

“She just got a message from Charles, Scott.” Emma huffed annoyed as she walked past them.

“See for yourself, he’s on his way.” William chuckled, before taking a drug to knock himself out.

Down the hallway is Logan. His shirt missing, his eyes wild, and on his head was a helmet of sorts. He’s breathing heavily as he’s watching Jean, no sign of recognition in his eyes.

“Jean, come to my office. There’s been an incident.” Charle’s voice said in Jean’s head as the Blackbird landed in the hanger after a mission.

“Jean? You okay?” Scott asked concerned.

“She just got a message from Charles, Scott.” Emma huffed annoyed as she walked past them.

“Ah, clever. But are you sure you want to find your old friend Logan?” Stryker asked sardonically as he activated hit reclaimed weapon. “Or if he’s even still here with us?”

Stryker was at a computer when he saw the red alert. “Ms. Grey. Welcome.” He said over the loudspeakers. “If you’re trying to read my mind, don’t. The room I’m in is secured against telepaths.”

Emma nods with a sigh. “I hate being sidelined.” She muttered getting into an elevator.

Scott had just finished waxing the blackbird when he sees Jean enter the hanger. “What’s going on?” He asked, getting the feeling that she’s upset.

“You got the location?” Emma asked walking alongside Jean. Not hiding the fact she was listening in telepathically. “Scott will try to stop you.”

“No.” Charles said firmly. “I’m spending the night searching for him using Cerebro. In the morning I’ll send the team to retrieve him. Unless William has already turned him back into Weapon X.”

“What is it?” She asks.

“While you and the X-Men were away on the mission there was an attack on the school.” Charles sighed pouring both himself and Jean a brandy. “The attack was led by one Colonel William Stryker. He wanted the children to experiment on them.”

“Logan however, gave himself up to protect the children.” He explained drinking his brandy with a single gulp. “I’m surprised that Stryker is honoring the deal if I’m being honest.”
