Help My Friend Get To Canada!!

Hi everyone! I know most of my posts are like, reblogs and stuff, but I hope you’re able to stop for a moment and help me and my friend out!! Spadenet is one of the most awesomest people you’ll ever meet, and I mean that very genuinely. An awesome and talented artist, and a cool person through and through. Unfortunately, they will be getting kicked out of their house here in the USA soon, and so their boyfriend has set up a gofundme to help them move to Canada so they won’t be homeless. Across expenses such as getting a passport and work visa, they won’t be able to do this alone.

Don’t baby them, tell them why it’s so dangerous on the internet. Being vague and treating them like they’re stupid won’t cut it, they’re not stupid. I’ve seen lots of adults think that just saying ‘strangers are dangerous because I said so’ is enough when it ain’t. Trust me, kids won’t think you’re protecting them, they’ll think you’re condescending them. I can tell you from experience because I was that kid. I was lucky that YouTubers and strangers taught me through their videos before any dangerous irl situations could occur.

Payment processing companies are censoring ‘adult’ content on games (including Mouthwash), the UK has passed an authoritarian bill that forces users to give up their information to view information and mature content and are planning on targeting VPNs, and YouTube is letting YouTube kids rot while they implement an AI that decides if you’re a child based off of the content you view.

The entire west is turning into a police state by extreme conservatives and evangelicals who want you dead or want you as a slave.

Trans women are women, Indian court rules

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued a landmark ruling affirming that transgender women are legally recognized as women in India, irrespective of reproductive ability.

Justice Venkata Jyothirmai Pratapa dismissed the notion that womanhood is defined solely by the ability to bear children, calling it unconstitutional and contrary to fundamental rights.

The case involved a dowry harassment complaint filed by Pokala Shabana, a transgender woman, against her partner and his family.

Although the court ultimately dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence, it firmly established that trans women have the right to protections under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, which addresses cruelty by a husband or his relatives.

The decision builds on the Supreme Court’s 2014 recognition of a “third gender” and strengthens protections for trans women against domestic violence.
