A nightmare for Kaby

Kaby and Keeby had planned a date to go to a theme park and have some time bonding as a couple, then close the night out with a fancy dinner. The two get on many attractions and have a great time. Then as the day winds down, they watch fireworks show and Keeby says to Kaby, “I love you Kaby.”

Kaby replies, “I love you too.” The two puffballs were about to kiss when suddenly, something happened to Kaby. All the sudden, he no longer felt attracted to Keeby in a romantic sense. But, knowing how close they were to kissing, Kaby went through with the kiss anyways.

Keeby then said, “the fireworks sure are beautiful, aren’t they?”

Kaby replied, “they sure are.” Choosing to keep the sudden lack of romantic feelings to himself. Kaby scolded himself asking in his head, Why don’t I love Keeby all of the sudden? Still, he’s my best friend, and I don’t want to hurt him. So Kaby kept it to himself and continued the date as planned.

The two Puffballs then proceeded to go to their home, get dressed properly for a diner, and went to a restaurant. They ordered what they felt like having from the menu. As they waited for their meals to be prepared, Kaby started to feel sad and depressed. He wasn’t sure how much longer he could keep up the act and was beginning to wonder if his entire romantic relationship with Keeby had been a lie. But, being who he was, he continued to keep these feelings to himself.

Twenty minutes went by and Kaby hadn’t said a word to Keeby since they ordered. Keeby was beginning to worry about Kaby. Then their food arrived and they, in true puffball fashion, ate their meals in under 10 seconds. They then waited to give their tips, pay, and leave. Kaby still refused to speak much throughout this.

The puffball duo then walked home and Keeby said, “Wasn’t it great doing something fun with the one you love?” Kaby remained silent, having a lot on his mind at the moment. Keeby then said, “Kaby, are you there?”

Kaby, finally broken out of his daze, was startled a bit and then said, “Uh yeah I am.”

Keeby then asked, “Wasn’t it great going out to do something together as a couple?”

Kaby replied, “Uh…yeah, sure, it was, a great way to do things as a couple.” He said this in an unsure tone of voice.

Keeby was starting to notice that something was off about Kaby and asked him, “Is something wrong?”

Kaby promptly replied, “No, of course not, why would you think that, poyo?” In his head, he was thinking, Oh no, is he figuring it out? Kaby was starting to both sweat and cry a little.

Keeby replied, “You haven’t talked much since we kissed at the fireworks show. Why is that?”

Kaby answered, “Okay, you got me. I have a confession to make. I think it’s time to break up.”

Keeby was shocked, devastated, and started to cry. “You don’t love me anymore?” Keeby asked.

Kaby then said, “I really thought I did. But, for some reason, before we kissed tonight, the feelings just disappeared.” Kaby continued, starting to break down into tears as well, “I didn’t want to tell you because I knew it would break your heart after all we’ve been through. Please try to understand, the last thing I want is to hurt my best friend.”

Keeby, devastated and angry, said, in an oddly calm tone, “Fine, If I can’t have you…” Keeby then Sucks up a conveniently placed super waddle doo, and shouts, with an insane look on his face, “THEN NO ONE CAN!!!” Keeby then uses the ability against Kaby.

Kaby then says, “Keeby, WAIT!!!” But it was to late. Kaby was running for his life and trying to tell Keeby, “I still want to be your friend. You’re my best friend in the whole world”, but it proved to be of no use. Keeby continued to attack Kaby and finally smacked him hard enough to paralyze him. Kaby, no longer able to run and trembling, said, “Keeby, please don’t do this, please don’t kill me, please don’t.” But Keeby doesn’t listen and delivers the final blow.

Kaby then wakes up. (I’ll let you tell the rest if you so choose. And did I succeed?)

((well, i wouldn't say that this will break him, but this will for sure be a very unpleasant dream for him. since well, him suddenly falling out of love with keeby could actually happen.))

((don't be fooled by the Kaby with the bag, he's not leaving, just moving...like i stated here.  because i see the ask blogs as like..sorta the muse's home or living space, it only makes sense for Kaby to answer asks alongside Keeby...since he lives there now; but that doesn't mean that Kaby or (even the two of them) can't come back here every once in a while.
