Do not support it. Do not use it. Do not do anything to encourage it. Actual, true artificial intelligence has potential moral applications, but this automated plagarism they're using now is not it, and in addition to killing careers, it's destroying the planet to power the systems that do this for them.

Fuck it. Fuck the CEOs, techbros and other scumbags pushing it.

With all that's going on, especially in the United States, I've been.. hesitant.. to write here. I'm sorry, the stress has been unrelenting, and I don't want to depress folks when you come here to read posts that are meant to be insightful and uplifting. All I can do now is hang on; throw in the potential scare of cancer for myself (!), as well as my uncle's recent brain surgery for Parkinson's and there's been a share of more personal shit happening as well. I had plans for a Fallout: Equestria project when the year began but, I don't know if I have the motivation for it right now (especially as it was going to delve into much more mature material), when there's more important things happening in reality.

Just letting ya'll know, because this audience here.. means a lot. Not just to me, but to the world. Don't give up. Do everything you can to remain safe, and don't let those fascist scumbags win.

I'm alive! Still recovering, and slowly getting back on socials and all that. The actual surgery went well, but healing is extremely slow, it seems. Explain to me what the point of a government is, if it's just going to empower the richest, steal from everybody else, and exist simply to tell you what to do, all while giving nothing back The police don't legally have to protect you, and despite taking your tax dollars, constantly cry for "donations". What little healthcare and social services you have are being ripped away. Education is under attack, your mail system is being gutted from the inside out, and trade with just about every country except possibly the ones destroying us are all being rendered asunder.

You'll be lucky if you even have functional roads in a year at this rate, as everything's sold off and the world's richest man has literal children hacking the Treasury for him. No conflicts of interest here!

I'd normally provide tons of links but why bother at this point, anyone who's going to doubt it won't even bother checking, because this stupid fucking tribalism and worship of a golden idol is going to end the United States of America. All because of a bunch of pathetic, shallow, sexless, angry little men are boo-hoo upset that they can't be hatemongers anymore, and that other people exist who aren't them. Some of those others are even happy! How fucking dare they!

I never actually stated some details behind what happened with my mother's passing, and honestly, given how it's gonna be rather grim, I'm saving that until the end of the month or start of next year. In addition, those of you whom know me outside of here, or have followed me on other sites may be curious about a certain something, which I will also discuss at that time. It would not have been appropriate to talk about a project of mine right after that, not to mention my interest in anything creative was dashed for months.

I am also seeking a standardized Pip-Boy/PipBuck cutie mark design to keep and use for my own purposes, both personal and official, though I might make this part a contest, not sure. Slowly digging through the Inbox and responding as able, so sorry if you're getting a reply months later, but trying to give answers when possible so ya don't feel ignored!

I still have lots more to say, but life has been exhausting, and the goddamn circus that's coming to town even more murderous than in 2016, so, you know. There's that. Anyways, all of you, stay safe and look after yourself and your loved ones, now more than ever. I'd say some bullshit about being happy for the holidays, but if I said what I want most, well, I wouldn't be able to continue typing here.

I'm scared, Pip. What if this is the end of the kind of life we know? What if damage is done that we can't recover from? What if this time really is different?

There are so many ways that things can go wrong and only a very few ways they can go right. From getting even more of a stranglehold upon the Supreme Court (with the solution being to expand the court; if we ever have any other fair elections again..), to even just a fraction of the horrible shit in Project 2025 happening. I swear to whatever gods exist and whichever don't, that anyone who's centrist OR leftist needs to get their fucking marketing right. You can't tell terrible people that a terrible person is going to do terrible things that they agree with. You need to hammer on the shit that everyone agrees is terrible; like drilling for oil in natural parks, destroying Social Security, that sorta thing. They try and bring up healthcare and human dignity, but since these assholes don't consider that "earned", they don't care, even if they're voting against themselves. Remember these are the people who've literally drowned in their own blood denying COVID as it kills them. Logic doesn't mean shit to an idiot.

The Simpsons said it best years ago; Republicans are just straight up evil, but Democrats don't know what they're freakin' doing. And, sadly, I think we learned another lesson about America. We already knew that a third party win under the current system is impossible; Teddy Roosevelt couldn't win when he tried; but now we also know that a woman winning versus a man is also seemingly impossible. Too many voters literally chose the pedophile rapist fraudster over the criminal prosecutor. Fucked up but true.

I was going to put this into it's own post but, basically, what we need to do is mitigate the damage and hope to hell that this idiot doesn't start World War III by sucking off Putin any more or pissing off some other random nation, and pray that his own incompetence will hinder him. Looking at who he wants to hire, that may very well happen. But we can't rely on it, especially since there's also the strong possibility of J.D. Vader over here pulling the 25th Amendment and taking over himself to sweep in fascism "properly". He's a 'true believer', but he's also a shallow, cowardly man so that might not occur, and Donny might just hamburger himself into the grave any moment, too.

My hope isn't extinguished, but I am so very, very disappointed in this country right now. Guy kills 1.3 million people, literally worse than Hitler, and they decide to give 'em another shot, with even more power and basically getting away with almost all his crimes. He's old and unhealthy, but.. evil people also seem to have some power to stay alive for ages. Fuckin' Dark Side, man...
