OOC: I know I just said I wouldn't get to update for a bit, but I wanted to make it up to you guys for all these annoying delays, so here are some panels that either didn't make the cut, and/or may be shown in the future ~_^

In any case, all of these are quite old. Some are from half-baked ideas. 

For instance, the top one was the original drawing for the ask about whether Rook knew anything about pokemon. The room was going to be filled with Pokemon memorabilia similar to the finalized ask. And the second pic was another idea of the CN party ask, with Zack from the Secret Saturdays.  

So hope you guys enjoy! And again I'm soooo sorry about the delays!

OOC: Ah really? Thanks, I didn't know that. That's why I answered the question ambiguously! 

UPDATE: Also just to let you all know I've been sick for the past two weeks but I will continue to finish the questions next week or the week after so keep a lookout!

Also the Slender story (more like side-story) will continue, but we are certainly open for suggestions as to how the whole scenario should end.

(OOC: this is in reference to when Ben accidentally had Amber Ogia splattered all over him and Rook's dad warned him that it would attract predators. Amber Ogia seems so unbelievably useful for sooo many things, but clearly there are some things it shouldn't be made into (ie: certain weapons and scented items while living in heavily predator-oriented areas))

ModUpdate2(Luminak): Alllllright-y. First and foremost I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates, despite you guys being promised otherwise. Turns out a few family members might need surgery (some for the second time). I've been basically dealing with that, among working full time, as I'm the only one who can take care of anyone due to me not being sick.

Also, I've been talking with a lot of different people lately of the Ben10 and other fandoms. As you may or may not know before, I wasn't sure what to think of the Brook pairing. Shipping and fandoms were never something I had taken part in and before I just stuck my nose in the air thinking my opinions were superior/couldn't do harm. Spoiler alert: They're not and they can.

As a result I've found that Brook (Ben/Rook) should be canon dammit! It's been a bit of a process, but yeah it really works best as it is: BEN and Rook. Obviously I'm new at shipping so I will be stumbling through this (Rome wasn't built in a day), so you can take my words with a grain of salt if you haven't already.

 XD Now, being a Rook askblog I know I can't get "ooc" (Even tho such Brook moments are/will be totes in-character ~_^), so don't worry about that. It's still a ROOK askblog not a Brook one (even tho I'm tempted to participate in that).

Granted, we at AskRook are SURE we've implemented some OOC moments already in this blog and for that we're sorry! We would appreciate ANY critique about how Rook's character is being done and we'll listen with open ears and minds!

Lastly, as for this update, I reallllly will be getting stuff up to you guys as soon as I can! I'm aiming for at least one picture this week (and of course more later)! So here's a Brook fanart to hold you guys over XD. THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO PATIENT WITH US!! It's been a weird year!

AskRook Mod/Artist Update

OOCLuminak: Just to let you guys know, this blog IS still alive. Been realllly busy with work and art lately so just be patient for updates. Your questions WILL be answered and the Slenderman story will continue....once I mull it over some more. 

So yeah XD this page isn't abandoned, just very overwhelmed right now!

Like the real Rook. Look at how busy he is!

Hope you guys enjoyed todays OV episode as much as I did (Benlie is gone :D! Just as it should be cause she's too good for Ben! XD and the new 'boyfriend' was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. That hilarity killed me). Anyway, good day guys.
