*Azul ran back and took the piece of cake.
“Taking this..”
*His voice was low and raspy, he sounded like a whisper. And then Azul ran off again.

would you like some cake?
probably not, but i figured there's no harm in asking =]

“…Azul. They found us.”
*Azul stated wide-eyed at Randy through his mask.
“No, no, we do want some cake… Just… maybe… Cake that doesn’t bleed?”

Log One:
Azul and I found another nest of Partygoers… We hated it, but we took care of them. Azul can be terrifying when he wants to be—he’s ruthless. He doesn’t talk much, but I’m pretty sure he fought in WWII. After all, he did say he was from the year 1945. That’s pretty cool—he’s an ex-soldier. But I can’t help but wonder… how did he end up here?

Note
*Randy swallowed, grabbing Azul’s hand.
“Yeah… I think we’re good.”
*Azul grunted in agreement.
*The two of them then ran off into separate directions… Headed different ways but to the same location.

Tumblr media
Hello to whoever is reading this. My name is Azul, and my partner’s name is Randy. We’re what you wanderers call “Partypoopers” or “Entity 68.”
We found this phone and managed to get a charger for it, so we decided to start a blog. We’ll be sharing random updates on what we find in the levels and what we encounter along the way.
-
Here is some lore on the two of them!
Randy & Azul – The Rogue Partypoopers
Deep within the decaying corridors of Level Fun, where the air is thick with the scent of rotting frosting and the walls pulse with an eerie, carnival-like glow, two figures lurk in the shadows—Randy and Azul.
Unlike their fellow Partypoopers, they do not seek to merely sabotage the endless, twisted celebrations of the Partygoers.
No, Randy and Azul have a purpose beyond their kin’s eternal struggle.
Randy – The Strategist
Randy is the more methodical of the duo, a rare breed among the chaotic Partypoopers.
Once a wanderer who barely escaped the grasp of the Partygoers, he was forced into their game of endless torment but resisted their influence with sheer will.
Over time, he learned the art of sabotage—twisting the Partygoers’ own traps against them, luring them into their own nightmarish games, and rescuing lost wanderers when he could.
He wears a tattered, black-and-white party mask with a single crack down the middle, a silent reminder of the moment he rejected the Party.
Unlike most Partypoopers, Randy doesn’t blindly hate all wanderers.
He believes that knowledge is power, and those who can navigate the Backrooms with wit and strategy may have a chance to survive.
He often leaves cryptic warnings scribbled on walls, warning of upcoming “parties” or booby-trapped safe zones. However, he has no patience for those who recklessly throw themselves into danger.
Azul – The Shadow Walker
Azul, on the other hand, is quiet—almost eerily so.
No one knows where he came from, not even Randy.
He simply appeared one day, draped in a faded, oversized hoodie stained with remnants of old, melted balloon rubber.
He rarely speaks, communicating mostly through nods, gestures, and the occasional whisper that barely cuts through the ambient hum of the Backrooms.
But when it comes to taking action, Azul is swift and precise.
His specialty lies in ambush tactics.
While Partygoers are focused on their grotesque revelry, Azul strikes from the darkness, snuffing out their lights and scattering their supplies.
His movements are unpredictable, his presence fleeting.
Some wanderers claim they’ve seen a flicker of blue vanish behind a corner just before a massacre of Partygoers took place—an eerie warning that Azul had been there.
A Purpose Beyond Chaos
While most Partypoopers revel in sowing discord, Randy and Azul have set their sights on something greater: the downfall of Level Fun itself.
They’ve spent years gathering intel, mapping out hidden escape routes, and sabotaging key Partygoer nests.
But the Partygoers are relentless, and rumors speak of a new, more intelligent leader among their ranks—one that has taken notice of Randy and Azul’s interference.
Now, the duo walks a fine line between survival and obliteration, knowing that every step forward brings them closer to either victory or a fate worse than death: becoming the Party’s next main attraction.
How They Interact With Each Other
Randy and Azul have a dynamic built on unspoken trust, forged through years of survival in the Backrooms. They don’t always need words to communicate—body language, gestures, and shared experience are enough. But when they do speak, their conversations are often brief, dry, and laced with an odd, morbid humor that only they seem to understand.
Their Dynamic
Randy as the Planner, Azul as the Executioner: Randy is the strategist, always analyzing situations and thinking three steps ahead. Azul, on the other hand, is the one who acts, carrying out plans with almost eerie precision. Randy comes up with sabotage tactics, and Azul is the one who makes them happen.
Silent Understanding: Azul doesn’t talk much, but Randy has learned to read his small gestures—a slight tilt of the head means “bad idea,” a flick of the fingers means “go now.” Azul, in turn, follows Randy’s lead without question, trusting his judgment in a way few others would.
Opposites in Energy: Randy can be sharp-tongued and sarcastic, throwing out dry remarks even in dire situations. Azul rarely responds with words but might let out an amused exhale or shake his head. Their humor is dark, built on surviving nightmare scenarios together.
A Deep, Unspoken Bond: While neither would openly admit it, they’d risk their lives for each other. They’ve saved each other from Partygoers more times than they can count. If one of them disappears for too long, the other will search tirelessly until they’re found.
Example Interaction:
(Right after escaping a close call with Partygoers.)
Randy: panting “Okay. New rule. No more taunting the guys with balloon heads.”
Azul: tilts head
Randy: “Yes, I know I did it first. I have charm. You just stand there and stare like a serial killer.”
Azul: shrugs, then holds up a torn piece of a Partygoer’s outfit
Randy: “…Did you actually—? You did. You crazy—okay, we’re running now.”
They might not always say much, but their actions speak for them.
