Today was the start of the shiny Gengar promotion, which included the release of the Phantom Gate trading card game expansion, mega Gengar and shiny mega Gengar plush, and distribution start of shiny Gengar for Pokemon X and Y.

(The purple Gengars look like they have shiny fabric, but I think it’s just a side-effect of the ombré coloring.)

The ditto card was part of the Phantom Gate promotion - if you bought 1 box, containing 20 expansion packs, you would get 1 ditto card.

Pokemon Center exclusive Meowstic and Espurr card sleeves also came out today, and as I expected, they were incredibly popular. So popular that within 40 minutes after opening, the Tokyo Center had sold out.

The water is hidden inside a blue rock that lies 700 kilometres underground in the mantle, the layer of hot rock between Earth’s surface and its core.

Some geologists think water arrived in comets as they struck planets, but the new discovery supports an alternative idea that the ocean oozed out of Earth’s interior layer.

gah i'm still so sorry >.> it's really upsetting seeing this. not only have the attendee's been screwed over by the whole thing but also vendors, panelists and other guests. and seeing as this one is a friend of mine  that upsets me even more. it feels like i am trying to white knight this or something but i can't help it. it really shits me off and the fact that it has a effected quite a few people that i am friends with or have been friends with is just. why you have to do this.

ARTIST PANEL CANCELLED (OOC)

The staff of Sydneigh 2014 didn’t even think to message their guests and panelists to tell them that the WHOLE event had been cancelled (literally less than two weeks before it was meant to be held). The worst part is..I had to find out through a friends comment on an unrelated FB post. Naturally, I am gutted. Being a part of an artist panel for the first time with some of my closest friends was a big opportunity/deal for me. I had everything planned out. I was so excited…..

for those who are not aware yet http://sydneigh.com.au/ the brony convention sydneigh which was meant to happen in about a week has gone and cancelled and pulled this no full refund bullshit. this is seriously appalling and deserves attention. my friend Koroshi-Ya wrote this up and has summed it up pretty well. i am not even in this fandom anymore and while apart of me finds this hilarious the whole thing is absolutely disgusting.
