Where did Pup go?

So, lately, I’ve been in a weird art funk. Basically Art Block. Drawing hasn’t been the problem as much as liking the end product. So, I’m. Going to try and spend a day or so just drawing. I heard that drawing Pokémon has been a good way to get over Art Block so I might continue my Sketch ‘Em All project.

While I get out of this funk, I’m going to look at the asks in the Inbox. Maybe clear out a couple that I don’t have answers for / already answered. I’ll let you know the new number after I’ve drawn a few Pokémon, I guess.

Edit;; I’m also gonna close the Ask Box for a bit so I can empty the box a bit more.

This is actually a question for the Mod. Why did Pup say he wasn't technically a Doggo in that one ask with middaily-lycanroc?

YOOOO Listen up here’s a story about a little Pup in the Hyaenidae fam–

From my understanding, the ‘Yena line is based off of the Brown Hyena. I base this mainly on their looks, considering This Is An Adult and This Is A Cub, but also based on the fact that they have really hella “powerful jaws. Young animals can crack the leg bones of springboks within five minutes of birth”. If that ain’t a bite Pkmn Idk what is.

Now, the thing about Hyenas is that they are not part of the Canis Family; Hyenas are of their own Family.

So while technically the ‘Yenas look like Dog Pokémon, I don’t classify them as Dog Pokémon.
