“Dark room”

An old-ish comic I made shortly before the new chapters’ release. I was thinking about how Kris’s room in castle town looked so much like their real room, and drawing from my own experiences and others about what darkness means to you as a kid. I was specifically drawing on the idea that “in the dark things start to look like other things, like monsters and stuff, and your imagination runs wild” and so when that exact same idea was brought up days later in Ralsei’s ch3 exposition I went crazy.

eheheh thats one of the main reasons i really wanted to make that amv at all, because it connects so strongly to the previous song… when i listened to Remember Me for the first time i was like “this is really good, and visually similar to Trust Me, so i wonder if— NO WAY ITS THE MELODY ITS THE CHORUS NO WAY” like the repeated lyrics and everything still make me emotional lol
