Announcing ALEISTER AND ADOLPH, a look into the occult world of WW2, spies and evil. I’ve been working on this since the summer of 15, so glad to get this announced. It is about evil and the evil we do, so beware. Some of this is fiction, but it is all based on fact. More on the AV story:

THE EVIL DEAD ScreenPrint poster art by Francesco Francavilla
EXCITED to finally reveal this! I provide a movie poster art for a classic of Horror movies, Sam Raimi’s Cult THE EVIL DEAD. Thanks again to the fine folks at Silver Bow Gallery for inviting me to do this. The best part has to be knowing that both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell loved and approved the art :)
Here’s all the details as revealed today on Bloody Disgusting website:
This Friday, February 26th, SilverBow Gallery will release the stunning new Evil Dead art, Bloody Disgusting can exclusively reveal.
Francesco Francavilla created the 6 color screenprint that’s limited to only 220 pieces, with only 80 limited edition (blue colorway) variant editions available.
The background is taken from the pages of the Necronominon with the composition of the piece meant to depict a large A for “Ash”.
It is fully licensed through Renaissance Pictures with the artwork signed off by Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert!
Here’s both versions of the print that can be ordered over at SilverBow Gallery.
Cheers, FF

Artist George Caltsoudas is celebrating “Batman: The Animated Series” with a series of posters, each one dedicated to an episode of the show. Caltsoudas’ plan is to draw one poster a day, five days a week, of all 65 episodes from “Batman’s” first season. The posters capture the show’s “Dark Deco” style, a term coined by the original series’ creators to describe the show’s look. For your daily dose of “Dark Deco” “Batman” posters, you can follow Caltsoudas: http://caltsoudas.tumblr.com/
