I see how this settled right up their alley. I see their beloved tropes and character archetypes and I'm having flashbacks of every instance I've watched them used for their own creations.

I love the TV show's added touch where you can 100% tell when MB is trying to sound like one of its serial action heroes swooping in to save the day. Like it so obviously hyped itself to come in there and deliver that line. It was rehearsing it in its head the whole walk back. And then it expected some kind of big theatrical reaction but instead they just stare at it because they're real people going through something instead of its fav fictional characters.

So then it's like. Hmm that didn't work. Let's try it again, more gusto this time, come on murderbot you can do it, alright here we go-

"I have...a...plan?"

And the only reply it gets that second time is the mumbled equivalent of gurathin saying "oh FUCK no" which is BRUTAL

Been thinking about Mark S deciding to stay with Helly on the severed floor as long as possible discovering he has health issues he never knew about.

He doesn't know he's an alcoholic.

He doesn't know he's on antidepressants.

The brain zaps kick in and he assumes it's something wrong with his chip. His head is killing him, but all he knows is his brawl with Drummond. He's shaking and nauseous. Aches and chills plague his body. He can't sleep and needs to stay near the bathrooms. Helly notices he's more agitated and apathetic. They both know he needs help. His symptoms progress into a seizure.

I finished up my episode poster series for Season 1 of Severance... and here it is! I'll wrap up my Season 2 designs this weekend after the finale drops tomorrow night. This was a really fun project to focus on in my spare time over the last 7 weeks and I hope fellow fans of the show like the results. I'll be adding/restocking prints of all 19 episode designs to my shop on Saturday (after I design the poster for Cold Harbor) so stay tuned.

So sorry for my Andor Star Wars audience, I’m currently on big Severance hyperfixation. But I watched all Andor s2 and it’s one of the best things I ever seen, so I might do something in future for sure. Just be patient a little more. The work is mysterious and important.

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH I’m so excited for season 2 and I’m considering picking up the books and checking those out. Something about Apple TV shows just always change my brain chemistry (Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, Severance, now this)
