Ok so my last question involved me asking if Neptune conjuncted my ascendant sign, but I just found out that it doesn’t and now I’m confused. This might be a dumb question, but how do degrees work mathematically?😭

it’s not a dumb question at all!! the degrees of a sign in a planet ranges from 0-29. so your neptune in aquarius would range anywhere between 0-29, and you said yours was 12? and your ascendant is 5 degrees in capricorn. since, capricorn is the sign before aquarius, it is 24 degrees away from being in aquarius and then another 12 degrees away from neptune. that means they aren’t close enough to have a conjunction.

Do conjunctions always have the same sign in them because I have venus gemini in the 6th house with a 26th degree and a mercury cancer in the 7th house with a 5th degree and they conjunct each other.

No, conjunctions aren’t always between the same signs. They also happen to planets that are 0 to less than 9 degrees within each other. Some sources have different numbers, but they don’t have more than a 10 degree margin.

astrology observations - part 2

- asteroid Medea ( 212) in major aspects to mars or venus, in close degrees will be very vengeful if wronged. Could make someone take extreme measures to prove a point to their lover. And will never forget you, if you like betray them or lie to them while being in a relationship.

-  even though all of us curse some people when we are angry, it doesn’t relly affect the person. ( mostly). But for  the people with close Medea - mars / venus aspects curse, it may come true to some extent. As in ancient myths, medea was a great witch and the direct granddaughter of Helios, the titan of sun.

The above mentioned potency of the curse may vary upon their mars signs and venus signs and the aspects to mars and venus. Buuut, if their mars aspects pluto in any way… Just fucking run.

- this is also true about asteroid circe ( 34 ). in fact, circe in close aspects to mars / venus will be more intense and potent than Medea in my opinion, because in the myths, circe was the daughter of Helios, the titan of sun.

- chiron in 1st is a very tough placement, and if it is conjunct the ascendant then it’s a difficult placement to handle. They usually have difficulty in expressing their true self ( like an Aries chiron), and are usually ashamed of themselves in some way or the other.

- they might have body image issues, they might be ashamed of their speech / accent, or in some cases they may even not like their own name.

- they might have a lot of different names for them online to express various parts of their personality.

- contrary to the popular belief, virgo mars don’t need clean sex. Like sex only on fresh sheets or sex in the shower. They only expect their partner to be clean. No greasy and matted hair, no yellow teeth etc. ( all of us expect that, but virgo take it to the next level). They are very very fine doing the dirty anywhere, in fact many of them are exhibitionists and have dirty thoughts rivaling that of a scorpio. They are actually kinky mofos and involved in some… Umm… Not very clean things lmao…

- OK so I have a theory. For those of us, who have our DC or 7th house divided between two signs EQUALLY, like exactly divided 7th house between two signs, we tend to attract more people from the second sign that occupies our 7th house.

- for example, I have my 7th house split exactly between gemini and cancer. And I tend to attract more Cancers and moon in 1st people thank mercurial people or Mercury in 1st people.

- moon in hard aspect to pluto ( square and opposition), can have such powerful emotions that, those around these people will also feel their intensity. Because pluto is intensity and it  tends to project its energy onto others. And usually people are scared of such genuine and intense expression of emotions.

- OK we all afraid of a jealous scorpio. True. They can be very jealous, possessive and sometimes even vengeful, if thwarted.. But ya’ll ever seen a vengeful venus dominant.. Shit.. Like they go all Taylor Swift in picture to burn lmao…

- scorpio seeks to destroy your reputation and emotionally destroy you, alienate you and give you a taste of your own medicine. But a venus dominant or even a Taurus or libra will destroy all your possessions, embarrass you among your peers, humiliate you and will put you down without any mercy and will do all these things, while drinking champagne. They do it all because they are petty. More than they let everyone else to believe.

- usually, venus people get emotions too.. Not as intense as a scorpio but, but not as light and easy as venus people lead us to believe. But they will hide all these emotions behind a calm facade and act like they are not feeling anything. Because, showing emotions would ruin their so perfectly crafted public mask.

- in my opinion, scorpio + sagittarius energy makes the best combination for psychological pursuits.

- look scorpio is the best placement for anything deep. But even though scorpio combined with aquarius can be an excellent combination for psychology, I feel like they may try to dig deeper into the psyche, cause they just wanna figure this out. Both these signs are amazing at finding new things. But with this comes the lack of empathy too. Both of them are kinda too clinical. So I feel like they can understand the why, but they will lack the ability to relate and kinda soothe them… I don’t know just my opinion.

- sagittarius excels at making people feel welcome and included. The reason why they make friends easily is also due to the fact that they can easily relate to other people being a mutable sign.

- so I feel like while scorpio can dig deep and find the root of the problem, sagittarius can easily relate to the person and can understand how and why this happened in a kinda bigger picture, making it easy for the patient to relate. So this combo will not only find out the problem for the sake of finding out the mystery behind the issue, but also to genuinely make someone feel welcome and accepted. It is MY opinion… So don’t come at me…lol

👹Short temper, however they don’t stay mad for long. Most individuals are too future oriented to focus on the past, so they forgive and forget easily.

👹However when they are mad, expect to see a more immature side of them, childish low-blows in the heat of the moment and aggressive, defensive behaviour.

👹Passionate about what they do, but when things get too predictable and stagnant, it’s hard for Aries to keep motivated and committed. They need a challenge to keep them interested.

Taurus Mars:

🍪Value security and stability, and look for opportunities that provide this with an overall low risk factor.

Cancer Mars:

🐞The problem arises when it comes to standing up for themselves, they usually come across as, passive aggressive as they tend to hate direct confrontation.

Leo Mars:

astrology notes: moon’s origins edition (pt. 1)

moon in aries

not an easy position for the moon. one of the most likely moon placement to have counter-dependent tendencies, denying own needs for closeness and intimacy while attempting to be emotionally self-sufficient. when deep feelings and needs emerge (and you know they will), they unconsciously fend them off with anger, impulsive tendencies and, sometimes, sexual expressions.

often an aries-dominant parent was quick to respond to the aries moon wants and desires, allowing them freedom to pursue their interests. such parent encouraged the kid’s independent nature, possibly because they were themselves independent or self-absorbed and didn’t want to assume responsibility for the aries moon’s welfare. they might have often said “be tough” or “get over it” to the child, forcing the aries moon to defend against closeness and the expression of more vulnerable feelings. the parent may have encouraged individuality while simultaneously failing to affirm and support who their child really was. sometimes, however, an aries moon shows a submissive parent who catered to their whims and impulses, but never met their actual needs, or helped them develop a frustration tolerance one needs to mature and adapt properly.

it’s particularly important for cancer moons to come to terms with their needs since cancer = moon. your basic well-being depends on it. if you were either deprived or over-indulged as a child, you may have become excessively attached to food, home or nurturing figures. when you’re in touch with your needs and feelings, you’re inclined to: a) eat or seek oral gratification (sex, smoking, chewing); b) expect others to cater to you; c) cry nonstop, either in self-pity or to make others pay attention to you; d) cling to people or possessions and withdraw from the real world. an alternative pattern is to see vicarious satisfaction through nurturing others. you may become The Child or The Mom Friend, but true satisfaction won’t come by infantilizing others instead of respecting their integrity and independence. if there are powerful squares or oppositions to the moon, you may have powerful defenses against both the need to nurture or be nurtured, which results in psychological and physical problems (stomach, uterus or breasts) that force you to take care of yourself fully.

a cancer moon suggests one or both parental figures were protective, maternal and empathic. however, if the moon is afflicted, the parent may have unconsciously been influenced by their own unmet needs and encouraged the child to remain helpless and dependent upon them for gratification. such parents were martyrs, doing for us what we needed to do for ourselves, or paying excessive attention to their own emotions to gain from us the sympathy and consideration which we ourselves may have needed to experience.

leo moons particularly need to feel loved and appreciated, to be prioritized, to play around, and to express themselves spontaneously and creatively. they need warmth and devotion and can give abundantly from their hearts as long as they’re also being fed with love. otherwise, their lunar nature may become distorted and compulsive in its insistence upon attention and / or power. negatively, they may overdramatize to impact others, or may become dominating and bossy in their attempts to maintain command over themselves and others.

I’ve been researching Pluto in the 1st house for the past few days. Here’s what I gathered in terms of information:

🦅 The individual might carry a lot of hidden agression.

🦅 They might have been quite judgemental in their younger years.

🦅 They are late bloomers when it comes to developing their full identity, personality and character traits.

🦅 They might judge themselves in advance (in fear of others judging them first). It’s almost like a self-defense mechanism.

🦅 TMI, they might have been introduced to physical intimacy, sex, masturbation or sex themes way too early for their age. It could be also that they learnt masturbation at a young age hence they were percieved as physically mature early on.

astro notes rant pt. 5: venus

venus in aries folks may frequently make others think that they are attracted to them cuz they have a very forward approach towards sex and speak directly about all kinds of topics. also they often express their feelings via physical touch - when they’re excited they’re gonna put their hand over your shoulder and start pushing you around, when they’re happy they’re gonna squeeze the fuck out of you, when they’re worried they’re gonna inch in closer as if they need the support, etc. this can come out as something romantic/sexual to more uptight characters.

venus in taurus are actually pretty secretive and take their time to open up to people. they usually come off as caring and stable and that’s why people often don’t realize they don’t share all that much and avoid certain topics. in general, taurus is just as mysterious as scorpio but with less angst and dramatic edginess about it. another thing i’ve noticed about them, esp if the sun is in gemini, is that they’re kinda clueless about the signals ppl are giving them and have difficulty figuring out when someone’s into them, maybe cuz they are usually quite traditional about the ways in which they show they have feelings for someone and expect the same from everyone else.

from my personal observations, i haven’t noticed venus in gemini people to be unable to commit or to be mostly into flings. i think those people have a hard time settling on someone cuz they need a significant amount of mental stimulation to enjoy a relationship but once they found someone with whom they can discover the world together and not someone who’s supposed to be their whole world, they are quite devoted and loyal. all venus in gemini ppl i know have long-term relationships, like 4+ years, and work hard and compromise a lot to make them continue longer. while it’s true they have an innate flirtiness to them and often talk playfully to people while they’re in a relationship, they actually keep in mind the boundaries they’ve set with their partner. however, they’re not likely to settle with a person whose boundaries are too strict and can’t stand them joking around with others.

cancer venus folks experience a lot of jealousy. it might be the most jealous venus sign tbh. they’re quick to commit and set their mind on someone and expect the same and they’re usually not the type to “play date”, they want someone with whom they can see a long-term future. that’s why they may read a lot into their partner’s behavior esp if they’re sensing they’re not that keen on such a full blown commitment, and may feel the sting of jealousy sharper than most people. another thing I’ve noticed about them is that in the beginning of the relationship they are very caring and treat you like a baby f.e. they’ll cook for you a lot, remember how you like your coffee, give you massages, tuck you in and basically baby you all the way. but then they slowly try to shift this towards you babing them more, it’s like they lure you in by taking care of you but then reveal what they really want is you to baby them.

venus in leo may unknowingly cause negative feelings and envy in others because they really like to show off with their partner and to compare them with others to point out how they’re better. a couple of people that date ppl with venus in leo have actually complained to me they feel uncomfortable cuz their partner keeps making others feel not good enough through comparisons. venus in leo folks need to make sure their close ppl are recognized for their qualities and validated. sometimes they may even boost a bit their lover’s acomplishments or try to present them in a better light so everyone can be amazed by them. venus in leo actually enjoy a bit of envy directed their way tho, they like it when others want what they have (of course as long as it’s not too much and it’s not getting in their way somehow).

venus in virgo are always repressed sexually in some way. this doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have an interest in sex, more like they have some sort of blockages that prevent them from deriving personal pleasure from sex with someone. they might’ve been raised in a convservative family that made them feel sex is bad or should be super boring, or they’re afraid their partner may leave them if they’re not being “useful” so they put the other’s pleasure first and forget about their own, or they feel like they need to be perfect in bed - whatever this means - and so may have difficulties relaxing and enjoying themselves…there can be many different reasons behind virgo venus folks having trouble giving into their own sexual desires but yeah, i often find this placement in the charts of people who can’t enjoy themselves.

venus in libra natives are used to being the one that makes all the effort in relationships and often feel as if the other person doesn’t care as much as they do or at least isn’t willing to work as hard as they do for things to work out. that’s why they really idealize connections in which things seem to magically work out on their own and they may fall in love with someone simply cuz it feels like someone else is pulling the strings - like there is perfect timing or they get stuck in a ditch and it is solved on its own without anyone trying to fix it. they are very different in that aspect with their opposition in aries - venus in aries feels weird when things just work out effortlessly and needs to actively put work into solving conflict in order to feel satisfied in a relationship. 

scorpio venus are not some flaming hot sexual beasts that just ooze intensity and flirtation over their love interest. these people are actually extremely withdrawn when it comes to expressing their feelings and are not the type to go after their crush openly, esp if they have a reason to think they will be rejected. but the option that they won’t be rejected scares them too - I’ve noticed they tend to fall for players that may stick around even after they confess their love but won’t reciprocate the intensity and devotion of the scorpio venus native. it’s almost as if y'all want someone who won’t put you through the horrors of rejection but also won’t put you through the torture of acceptance, mutual love and…trust either lmao. it’s safer this way after all. also despite the fact that scorpio venus people usually have some kinky fantasies, they’re often closed off sexually and feel very uncomfortable when they have to open up physically with other people. they have difficulties tapping into their own sexuality and expressing it - often even in front of themselves.

venus in sagittarius is extremely sensitive to rejection. we’re used to seeing this placement as very out there, confident, optimistic and always up for shit but i’ve noticed folks with it often perceive rejection where there is none and if you refuse them a couple of times, they are super reluctant to ask you for smth again and may act a lil bitchy about it, almost as if you owe them something. i think they’re often hurt by how other people’s enthusiasm and thirst for exploration and new experiences doesn’t match their own and someone rejecting their ideas and invitations often feels like a forced loneliness, it makes them think they won’t find a partner in adventures and will have to explore everything on their own. which, as much as it’s fun, can also be quite depressing sometimes.

despite their reputation of being dry af and always looking for stable long term relationships, venus in capricorn people actually really enjoy being with fiery individuals, esp if they don’t have that much fire in their own chart. i’ve noticed they are particularly attracted to aries/leo energy and really need that extra boost of spontaneity and idgaf vibe. they love someone that brings variety and wildness into their everyday life (as long as it doesn’t interfere with their schedule lmfao). they’re the type to drop hints that they’d like to be taken somewhere and to be surprised while also telling you suggestively when they’re actually free lol….

venus in aquarius people are most likely to be the come-and-go type and are known for being sort of inconsistent in their displays of affection and attention. people often think they are hot and cold and their feelings are not stable but the truth is this isn’t about their feelings for their lovers and friends, it’s connected to the famous aquarian need to withdraw and be on their own for some time. they are often surprised why people see them as inconsistent when their love isn’t actually wavering, they just need some space for a while and then come back, acting as if nothing happened - cuz technically nothing happened for them, they were just recharging themselves mentally. some self-awareness of how this may come across to people will be helpful for them in relationships, otherwise this behavior is honestly bordering clownery.

venus in the 12th house people may often experience an inexplicable connection with their loved ones. they often have premonitions and visions of someone who is going to be important to them before they even meet them. they feel someone is going to enter their life. also they may connect to people they love so deeply that they can feel the other very close even if they’re separated by a huge distance and can experience the sensations the other is feeling. i’ve heard many stories by venus in 12th folks about astral traveling into the dreams of their loved one or experiencing shit the other experiences without knowing it at the moment. they may also be very sensitive towards physical touch esp if venus is in an earth sign or they have a lot of earth in their chart - f.e. when they touch their loved one it feels like a deep vibration under their skin or it resonates in a particular part of the body every time, etc.

pluto in the first house - there is a great deal of insecurity and inadequacy in how they see themselves, so they need an insight from the outside to change their outlook. the problem is they don’t really trust others’ opinions and are really defensive about their identity so it’s hard to let in someone’s view on them. they’re the type to rebel and get very defensive instinctively against any type of “you are *insert whatever word here*” coming from people. often look really different when they’re in a different state of mind - and i’m talking “i can’t recognize you” level of different.

pluto in the second house - have a lot of impulsive tendencies which can wreck their life. the initial reaction to anything is very primal and not really based on common sense or any rational thought, they often wanna jump straight into shit wtihout considering the consequences. they often value a lot people who appear thoughtful and sentimental and capable of restraining their impulses and like…carnal desires. cuz actually they know on some level that they need to develop these qualities themselves in order for things to stop being so damn hard lol.

pluto in the third house - a healing touch. seriously, those people often have concentrated healing abilities in their hands and can excel at giving therapeutic massages or practicing reiki or anything like this. actually it’s a great placement for doctors too. they’re also incredibly explorative and have a hunch for discoveries. they have the mind of a detective. i’ve also noticed they use a lot of emojis when they chat cuz they wanna make sure the other person catches the energy behind their words and fully understands them.
