The beginnings of love for the signs
If you have a girl in mind check Venus+moon
If you have a boy in mind check Mars+moon
Check sun if you wish ;)
Aries: lots of hand gestures and eye contact and facial expressions whenever you two have a conversation (you’ll love it and soak it all up), lots of food dates (they want to make sure you’re comfortable around them), picking you up and twirling you around and quick cheek kisses, “you always calm me down”
Taurus: they’ll show you the secret places they go to chill (this can be anything from a flower garden to Starbucks to an underground club just be ready honestly), they’ll let you push them around like no one else dares to, they’ll tell you that you’re different and special (because in their eyes you’re truly one of a kind), “oh, you have to go? Are you sure your don’t want to stay around just a little longer?”
Gemini: expect lots of chats over the phone (they’ve realized that they can’t hear your laugh or your stutters through text), “looks” from across the room when something stupid happens, just chilling at your place sounds like a good time to them, “hey, you’re just like me”
Cancer: nose scrunching and suppressed smirks when you say something dirty (you could tell they were thinking the same thing), lots of high fives quick touches, asking lots of questions about you (they’ll wriggle out of answering yours, but they’re just trying to make sure you’re one of their kind) “thanks for being patient with me”
Leo: whispers in your ear (they don’t have to, but you can feel their grin on your cheek), bodies pressed together type hugs, admitting to stalking your social media (you’ll call them a creep but you’ll be blushing), “you know, I’d do anything for you…”
Virgo: they could listen to you speak all day (they love learning more about you), little things that go almost unnoticed (like putting an umbrella in your car or buying you new headphones when you complain about your others), you’ll get to see their silly side (and you’ll love it), “don’t worry I’ll take care of it”
Libra: they’ll talk about how well you two look together (they’ll want lots of pics of you two or just you), introduces you to friends and family, your head rested on their arm or their head in the nook of your neck (you’re their safe place now), “I like you, you’re genuine. it’s really… refreshing, you know?”
Scorpio: mixing paints until they find the exact shade of your eyes (even if they’re brown, they’re a special kind of brown to them), opening their mouth to say something then closing it immediately because they don’t want to scare you away, touches that linger a little bit too long to be just friendly, “finally, SOMEONE understands!”
Sagittarius: lots and lots of jokes made to get under your skin (throw it back at ‘em twice as hard), making lots of plans because they really wanna hang out with you, all Sagittarius’s are philosophers just wait and they’ll show you, “hey I saw this thing and it sorta reminded me of you so here you go”
Capricorn: showing you what they geek about (believe me, it’s there), gloating about how much better you two are than everyone else, arms over shoulders and hands around your waist randomly (just to shock you ) “I’ve always needed someone like you in my life”
Aquarius: pinching your cheek (just so that they can touch your face), saying things that the two of you are gonna do in the future, bringing you around their friends (and their face lighting up when you charm their asses off) “I can talk with you for hours and about anything… weird right?”
Pisces: daydreaming about running into you (even if it’s just between classes), them showing you their secret hobbies, they stare into your eyes just a little bit too long (what even is too long?) “I can’t believe you’re real”

ASTRO NOTES LONG WRITE UP(6)🌸
Tumblr media
•water risings tend to have a lot of trauma especially in the realm of emotions due to their water houses falling on the cusp of air/earth signs and their “water rising” is merely a unconscious reaction to the trauma they see in others—hence why they come across as either nurturing or mysterious as that is their response to the trauma they experienced.
•Virgo and Gemini have a natural connection and can easily interpret the ideas and concepts that the other is making out.
•the sign born in the year of that designated Pluto sign tend to be the most mature and or intense of the bunch. The elements aligned with that sign as well to a lesser extent. Ex. Pluto in sag gen; Sagittarius placements and or sun in sag born during this time are far more intense then they’ve previously been and have a more raw Plutonian energy along with the Leo and Aries of this generation. Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces born during the Pluto in Scorpio generation are far more intense then they’ve been and so on. This applies as well to signs sextile/trine the sign itself. And even more so for signs square and or opposite in close degrees.
•your Lilith sign and the house it’s sits in shows where you will face your greatest battle. It also shows what brings the darkness out in you. Ex: Lilith in the 8th might start to find themselves becoming more ravenous and even controlling once sex is involved. Lilith in the 4th might find that family brings the worse out of them and might be the types to grow hatred toward communities and even churches once introduced.
•5th house: is the more simple you, the playful you and the you people date within the first few months.
•The 7th house: is the you people notice immediately, the you that’s out of your line of sight! They see this in tandem with your rising which creates a contradiction. A Capricorn rising seems stern but also in need of comfort. A cancer rising seems nurturing but also out of reach.
•Your 8th house: is the you that appears once trust is reached, the you after years of being with someone. This is why marriages change and relationships transform because the real us comes into play.
•Your 8th house is your traumas so you want to deal with this before settling down with someone as they’ll make center stage.
•Juno in Scorpio or in aspects to Pluto can show that you need and crave transformation in your relationships and may even force breakups and or tension in order for you and your lover to constantly grow.
•Neptune above the ic can show highly attuned spiritual abilities but can show a lack of grounding to this world and even someone who isn’t really here.
•Pluto below the ic can show a native who’s in tune with their power as well as themselves.
•Pluto above the ic tends to project Pluto’s traits on to others whilst finding it hard to see those traits in themselves.
•venus is how we want to be pleased sexually and what arouses us in a seductive manner. Mars is how we go about expressing our sexuality and or what turns us on in a more lustful way. Ex mars in Virgo will be turned on when they feel as though they deserve it and when their s/o is gentle and sensual with them. Whilst their venus in Scorpio will be at their mercy if they’re intense and overwhelming along with that.
•earth risings are very intune with their sexuality and have a very big appetite for sex due to their water houses being in fire signs! So sex is both a passionate yet emotionally fulfilling experience for them.
•fire risings tend to get lost in the act of sex and can have trouble separating the experience from their ego and that of their lovers due to their water houses being in the sign as well causing their more fiery tendencies to disappear once in love! Which is often why people can wonder why fire signs become more submissive and or passive aggressive once in love.
•sun square Pluto can produce someone who’s both magnetic and soulful but also someone who’s extremely intense and someone you’ll never be able to control no matter how cunning and manipulative you might be—they just always know what’s happening even if they don’t say a word.
•moon square Pluto is someone who has a complex and even destructive emotional world! They can see through the hidden in others and can be very good parents because of their ability to see the pain in others.
•mercury and venus square Pluto are cunning in social situations often able to bewitch a crowd with nothing more than a smile but what they succeed in the public they lack in themselves and can have a hard time understanding their own motives and or desires
•mars square Pluto are very cozy in they sexuality! Be it same sex or otherwise! That being said they’re extremely private and those that aren’t necessarily “out” yet May shy away from someone who’s asking them to do so early on as they like to have control over what they put out into the world especially something as sacred to them as who and what they fuck.
•sign lords can vastly influence how a sign is expressed! Ex: a aqua moon in the third decan is ruled by Uranus and Venus correct? Now place Uranus in the 10th house(Capricorn/Saturn influence) and venus In the 6th house(Virgo/mercury influence) this person is going to come across far more grounded and even more serious/somber than most aqua moons. Or take a Aries moon in the first decan which is ruled by mars correct? Let’s put their mars in the 12th house and have it be mars in cancer—so this native is far more emotionally cautious and receptive than most Aries moons along with maybe their Aries moon already being situated somewhere like the 10th house which adds grounding to all of this.
•12th house is sex on instinct! It’s what you already know how to do and what you desire on a soulful level. 8th house is how you have sex in order to merge with someone! This is the real way you have sex when you are connected to someone. The 4th house is how you crave to be treated during sex! This is how you nurture during sex and or can give insight as to how gentle and or loving will be about the act based on their upbringing.
•Pluto/mercury/Neptune/venus/Saturn in the 7th can have really nice butts be it any gender! Mercury/Neptune and Saturn are more petite and small but Shapley whilst Pluto and venus are more plump and or curvy.
•having more than 4 planets in someone’s 8th house is a sign of a karmic meeting and something that needs to be resolved between the two. Having two or three planets in someone’s 2nd house romantically can show deep loyalty and love that creates an unbreakable bond as well as a connection based on equal give and take out of wanting to do so not out of needing to do so. Planets in one another’s 11th house even if it only hits once can show deep familiarity and love between two people as friends and lovers!
•in synastry it’s good if the house your personal plants fall in is present in synastry or of the similar house elements. Ex: venus in the 6th house would love 2nd house and 10th house synastry and to some extent water! Mars in a fire house might love a lot of 5th/9th/1st house!
•the signs your personal planets fall in are also important! For ex: a Aquarius moon might like mercury aspects and venus aspects in synastry or even Saturn. Or someone falling in their 11th/3rd/7th Houses.
•SYNASTRY IS FELT BOTH WAYS. House person feels it as if they were the planet and planet person feels it as if they were the sign itself! Both parties and how they react to one another depends on if they like one another, the nature of the relationship and wether or not they’re comfortable with the themes associated with the house overlay in question! So if one of you is more Plutonian and the other is more airy you’re going to feel that 8th house overlay differently from one another but you’re both still feeling it.
•composite and synastry progressed show how you guys have grown overtime and it doesn’t replace the natal synastry or composite it just shows how those energies have grown to manifest as time has gone by. Composite mars in the 3rd moving to the 2nd house Im progressed shows that you’re growing to be more patient with one another as well as putting more value into security and comfort with one another! Less into “brainstorming” and more into sensual moments with each other. You’re still talkative and bubbly as you were but it’s channeled more into the theme of security and you’ve learned to allow one another to speak!
•NO ASPECT DETERMINES WHO YOU ARE! It’s a blueprint to yourself! Like a map of sorts so you do with it what you will but using the aspect as an excuse for your tom foolery is not what astrology is for it’s for self discovery and positive growth!
•Gemini sun struggle less with remaining focused on situations than Gemini moon and Venus.
•cancer sun is more emotive than cancer moons
•Aries suns are less impulsive and Carry a more relaxed energy than that of Aries moons who are far more impulsive and even energetic than their counterparts.
•Capricorn moons and Scorpio moons along with Aquarius moons aren’t the types to say they love you first and would rather show you than tell you.
•sun in the fire houses heals very quickly and have a high vitality. Sun in the earth houses have very sensual and intune body chemistry making it easy for them to sense issues in their bodies. Sun in the water houses can have influential energy even to the extent that it can feel like a wave washing over when they’re around—but they also seem less “here” than the rest of us. Sun in air houses often read body language better than anyone! Which is part of what makes them so likable in crowds because of how well they use this skill to navigate around them.

I made more printables!! In this case, it is a Spell Worksheet set. In most cases, it is best if, when making spells, you take your time and think them out. For each item or step included, you must think, why? Once the spell is done and you receive results, it is equally if not more important to reflect on them. This is one of the best ways you can learn what works and doesn’t work, thus, helping your growth as a witch.
You can get the PDF along with other resources here!
On that note, if you want to see or request specific worksheets or resources, feel free to send those my way!!

2020: The Year of the Emperor
Tumblr media
2020 is going to be a year of radical changes. That seems to be the general vibe of the New Year posts I’m seeing. I’m filtering, of course, for the light and love people who say that about every calendar change and planetary alignment.
Some people explain it by saying it’s a new decade. As far as pop history is concerned, nothing particularly interesting happened in the 1900s and 1910s, but the 1920 were about flappers and jazz and speakeasies and modernism, and if we’re in for another round of that, that’s exciting. Astrologers point out that this year is big because Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter are meeting up in Capricorn, an event that doesn’t happen very often. Pluto and “plutonium” share the same root word for a reason, and that’s exciting. People who look at the news and still manage to be optimists, are saying: It can’t possibly get any worse, can it? This must be the darkness before the dawn, right? And that’s… You know where this sentence is going.
Another reason this year is big–and one I don’t see anyone talking about–is that the number 2020 marks a major shift when you look at it through the lens of numerology.
2020 in Numerology
In numerology, when you add up the digits in a big number, you get a smaller number that’s more meaningful. Tarot readers of a certain philosophical bent map these numbers onto the numbers of the major arcana cards.
2010 is 2+0+1+0, which reduces to 3. 2010 was the year of the Empress.
2011 reduces to 4, the year of the Emperor.
2012 reduces to 5, the year of the Hierophant.
The numbers tend to tick up through a sequence. Periodically, the sequence breaks, and this year is one of those sequence-breaking years. 2019 was 12, the year of the Hanged Man. This year, 2020 reduces down to 4, and the sequence almost starts over. Instead of going from the Hanged Man to Death like the sequence is supposed to, we jump from the Hanged Man to the Emperor.
What the Emperor Means for Us
To figure out what this means, think back to where you were in 2011, the last time we were in an Emperor year–both in your personal life and in the world at large. Like we learned in lit class, anything that repeats is a theme. Themes from 2011 are likely to come up again.
Looking over a list of major news stories from 2011, I note it was the year of the Arab Spring. Several authoritarian leaders died. Austerity was the buzzword in Europe after the Euro almost fell over. The tsunami in Japan killed 16,000 people and sparked a serious rethink of nuclear power. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got married, a wedding that Thought.Co says held the “hopes of those who believe that they can revive the British monarchy from years of scandal and lagging popularity.”*
Going into 2020, there are echoes of many of these events going on as we speak and rumors of others starting in the near future. In the United States, the impeachment of President Trump is already raising questions around leadership and corruption. There is another Euro crisis, this time over Brexit. Australia is on fire. The British monarchy is once again mired in scandal. And those are the things I see from inside my filter bubble. I’m sure there are many other examples.
Seeing these events through the lens of the Emperor, we can start to see a theme that orbits around questions such as:
What does it mean to be a good leader?
What are the responsibilities of government?
What is the right use of power and money?
What structures do we need to keep ourselves safe? (And how safe can we really make ourselves, anyway?)
What the Emperor Means for You
On a personal level, we are likely to see these questions popping up in small ways over the course of the next year.
The goal of divination is not to predict the future but to become more wise. Pattern recognition is one part of wisdom, but it’s useless unless you learn from the patterns and apply them to your life.
Pay attention to the leaders in your life. Which are good at what they do? Which are bad? What can you learn from them? What corrupt structures need to be overthrown? How do you use your resources? What is the role of order and chaos in your life? What structures do you need to keep yourself safe? What can you learn about these things from looking at the people around you?
* Astrology fans, can you see the Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Capricorn themes in these stories? Eh? Pretty cool, right?

Normal Horoscope:
Aries: You keep the bedroom cold, not because you sleep better but because some tiny part of you craves the struggle of sleeping in the freezing rain.
Taurus: Your boots are not pig leather, they are the skin of something long long dead.
Gemini: What god casts pride as sin? To love what you see in the mirror is just that, love.
Cancer: The heart of this world is equal parts flourishing and rotten, as is the spaghetti Alfredo in your fridge.
Leo: Courage is not, in fact, something that a tired Hispanic man at a swap meet can sell you. Courage is facing what terrifies you.

Libra: When you look into her eyes do you see the future? She can say the same of you.
Scorpio: The man selling pastries at the farmers market knows what its like to kill another human being. Buy the apricot tarts. They are delicious.
Sagittarius: We all think we are the good guy. Stay home tomorrow. Make your favorite breakfast.
Capricorn: The way you grip the baseball bat scares her. Address the part of yourself that stays hungry.
Aquarius: The pain only goes away if you help take someone else’s pain. This is what our mouth and ears are for.
Pisces: Yes, you are a soul haunting a marionette of blood and sinew, but with a little TLC you could make it a proper home.

Dominant Planets
The first issue to tackle is to define what is meant by the Dominant planet. Some say it is the ruler of the sign on the ascendant, also called the chart significator (obviously derived from the word significant).  For example, if the native has a Gemini ascendant, then Mercury will be given careful attention.  Others say the ruler of the sign the sun is in is at least one dominant, or significator.  So if, for example, you have the sun in my favorite sign, Scorpio, you thoroughly explore Pluto (and Mars to some degree). But I like the definition given in a book published in 1934: “The dominant planet may, or may not, be the one ruling the rising sign.  It is simply the one, all things considered, such as house position, sign, and aspects, that has the most influence over the life.  Sometimes two or more planets will be found so influential in a chart that it is difficult to determine the energy of which is most freely transmitted by the individual, even as in most people it may be difficult to say which of two or more races predominate in the blood.  But usually some one planet in the figure stands out prominently, either by its elevation, its angular position, or by the many powerful aspects it makes; those to the Sun, Moon and Mercury being especially important.”
Personally, I don’t go after the dominant planet directly, it becomes obvious in the overview technique I teach. But if you are serious about determining the “dominant planet” you might want to work up a check list that might look something like this: Planet closest to the midheaven: Planet making the most aspects: Planet in a sign it rules: Planet strong by house: Planet closest to the ascendant: and so on. Then one or more planets will begin to stick out as being the prize Cherry on top of the vanilla strawberry ice cream cake cake.   Sorry it’s not cut and dry, but then neither is astrology.  Just take your time and you will find yourself saying things like, “Oh, wow!” and “This is interesting.” Jon Hassinger, contributor to Astrolocherry

Venus Signs & Stereotypes
Aries: All you ever hear is that you’re unfaithful and frisky, but people fail to forget how protective and loyal Aries Venusians truly are. You are meant to bring fun and passion into the lives of your lovers. You encourage your interests to experience everything with you. You are like an adrenaline rush after feeling down for a long time. Embrace it.
Taurus: So, you’re supposed to be all about money, a dull lifestyle, and boring commitment. Well, they’re getting it all wrong. You give sensual affection to your lovers and bring them to concerts, movies, museums, or help perfect their works or art. You are careful and steady, making your partner feel comfortable and loved. There is nothing ordinary about your stimulating romance.
Gemini: Unfaithful? Distracted? Unattainable??? More like upbeat, curious, and fun-loving. Though you require space, you enjoy time spent with your partner, especially if they can surprise you with adventures and a broad intellect. You’re more unfaithful to your plans and your tasks than to your relationships.
Cancer: Manipulative, clingy, and passive aggressive. Interesting how those words are tossed around. Anyone can possess such traits, but not everyone is as loving, nurturing, and caring as you are. Your romantic expression is often mistaken for something it’s not because others are not so used to softness and delicacy. Just because you are more sensitive than others does not mean it’s a front for something sinister.
Leo: Everywhere you look, you see pages upon pages claiming how high maintenance and selfish you are. Little do they know that royalty expects royal treatment and you will never ask for what you cannot give back. You will do anything for a lover that treats you the way you deserve to be treated. You would love to spoil and indulge your romantic interests.. Only if they do the same for you. Virgo: You’re not as demanding and critical as you’re made out to be. You would never push someone to be someone they are not, you simply aim to help your partner achieve the goals they wish to reach. If your partner wants to lose weight, you’ll be their coach. If your partner wants to quit a habit, you’ll stand by them through it all. You’re never appreciated for how much perseverance and patience you have in love. Thank you for being so helpful. Libra: Promiscuity and lingering lovey dovey eyes plagues your reputation but your devotion and sensuality towards romantic partners doesn’t. You would do anything to make your partner feel beautiful, wanted, and equal. You may be obsessed with the idea of love but you still know when you’re in love because you will put all your effort into a lover.. As long as you also feel worthy and loved by your interest. Scorpio: You’re often romanticized for your passion, your sexuality, and your emotional depth but when people you love get to see the real you, you’re often met with shock, abandonment, and rejection. For this reason, it can be so hard for you to open up but someone who will understand this and be patient with you will help you accept your romantic feelings. Don’t ever let others degrade you for something they do not have: sympathy, passion, and true love. Sagittarius: Others claim that you’re chaotic, wild, and unstable in love but really, you’re just searching for someone who will tag along with you on adventures and match up well with your changeable nature. You crave a relationship full of fun, excitement, philosophy, and passion. If someone cannot offer you this, you’re quick to run away. You’re not as complex as you’re made out to be, you just need someone as active as you in love. Capricorn: It urks me how little information is given about Cap Venusians. All that is known is that they are ambitious, dull, and all about their finances and career when this is such a large stereotype. A better description would be that they provide well for their lovers and will do anything to bring comfort and stability into their lives. They are extremely thoughtful and pay close attention to the little things about their partners for future reference. They are not boring or cold-hearted, they work hard to prove their love and devotion. Aquarius: Often deemed as unable to settle down, emotionally distant, and rebellious, Aqua Venusians are very misunderstood. It is with their style and self expression that they cannot find stability or normality, not their relationships. Their fashion and interests are ever changing and always quirky. Their love, however, is full of compassion, support, and encouragement. They will enjoy having a partner who is different, even encouraging their individuality and making them feel special. They are kind, sympathetic, and stimulating. Pisces: There is much more to them than meets the eye. Though they are soft and light hearted, there love and affection never is. They love and express their affection intensely and enjoy making their lover feel comfortable. Their moodiness and passive aggressive behaviors can make them seem manipulative but they are truly sensitive beings who take everything to heart and never mean to instigate. They need someone gentle and understanding to deal with their variable emotions.
