Maybe because of the mystrade fics I read growing into the Fandom, but I associate Lestrade with the rising Punk era within Britain! I headcanon he was a proud Punk as a young man, leather jacket and earrings and painted nails, angry bisexual, growing his hair out into a mullet, attending protests and the like! As he grew older he toned down his visual aesthetics to pursue his career but likes to wear his earrings during downtime ♡

Pineapple 🍍!

Pineapple are super tough, have such strong defenses, can be used as a weapon, are the only fruit I know that playfully eats you back (they have enzymes that break certain proteins down if I am not mistaken? Remembering off the top of my head so don't quote me haha).

They also thrive in tropical climates (James looooooves himself an island getaway... uh oh. Now I am thinking of him and Sunny accidentally ending up on y'all's island 🤭 he would get on well with Sayid!) and most of all, they have a brilliant, sweet, tangy center that reflects James' natural desire to protect as well as his near constant sarcastic, dry attitude 😂

Oooooooh! I have an AU for this actually! I associate Bond with the Invisible Man! A classic in the movie monster scene haha ♡ something about him being invisible, tormented by it, only ever sought after for his looks before the change, yet Sunny-- never knowing his face, is attracted to him anyway because they don't need to see his face when they can "see" his heart and mind and it comforts him.
