The KQ situation is insane…

Sorry I didn’t talk about this on here but the way kq has been treating yeosang is horrible and disrespectful and that goes without saying. The way eden operates and treats ateez specifically yeosang and wooyoung is so obvious and also goes without saying. I need kq to realise they would be nothing without ateez. They need to tighten up and get it together not only for ateez but also for xikers. Treating your artist like this is crazy considering they took you out the trenches and made you who you are. This album rollout deserves a post of its own as soon as I find the right words but this was a weird comeback and quite honestly I’m sure the moment Ateez is gonna put they foot down and start listing demands from la now that contract renewal is coming up.

Regarding the apology natty made

Firstly let me start off and say, this apology is wayyyyy too late and this is the statement and apology we in the black and brown community have been demanding immediately after that live happened. Also where’s the other members? The fact that we got a half assed statement from the company instead of the members themselves spoke volumes. This apology means nothing to me bc:

1) we should have already gotten it

2) a few of the members grew up in the states including natty who was already in trouble for saying the n word

3) this was nattys idea and the bbl message from another never asking us to not leave the fandom already let everyone know that they knew what they were doing were wrong and just did it anyway

I have a pretty big feeling that this apology is only happening bc l they were being removed from shows, are surprised this wasn’t swept under the rug, and they have a comeback coming up soon which makes this apology so horrible.

The fact that natty was already apologising for saying the n word and said she would educate herself and do better only to have this as her idea for a “birthday party theme” tells me no care and no strive to do better was a consideration. I really don’t care about them anymore and I really hope ppl understand how truly bad this whole thing is.

As a quick reminder: Vata stole the move while he was on Street Man Fighter, and after Wooyoung made the biting move during a performance to subtly call him out, Anze Skrube (one of the Say My Name choreographers) called out Vata full on for stealing the entire driving sequence - something that doesn't just happen on accident.

He also specifically named Josh Smith as the original creator of the driving move, saying it was created in 2018 specifically to be used by Ateez the following year.

Upon getting called out, Vata came in with this sad little excuse:

"I think the choreography its being compared to has a different transition and means something different entirely. As someone who loves the dance culture, I believe it is at its best when the artist and dancer respect one another. It saddens me to see that this isn’t taking place."

After all this happened and while Vata was still on Street Man Fighter, it came out that other dancers had previously also accused him of stealing their moves while on the show, meaning this wasn't even an isolated incident - he's likely a serial plagiarizer.

And despite all of that, the guy still has a career and is now the one behind Jennie's Like Jennie choreo. So yeah... Wooyoung and all who care about protecting artists' rights, should still be mad about this.
