It's been a while...

yeah, I'm sorry for not posting but let's just say I have not been having the best past few months, but I'm going to try to get back to everything I was doing on here but I'm stressing abt school starting so I'll probably spend a bit less time on tumblr/writing and more on studying soo yeah.

I think the thing that most gets me about the Lonely is that it is the only depiction of depression I’ve ever seen that focuses on how paradoxically good it can feel. Leaning into the apathy feels to me like putting ice on an injury: it hurts if you do it long-term, of course, but for the first few moments it’s a rush of relief.

Martin wanted to stay there, but used an incredible amount of strength in order to say “No, this is not true. This is not me. I would rather face the pain and feel again than stay numb like this forever”, and god it feels so good and so encouraging to hear that

This conversation happened after she’d ignored me for three days after finding out I’m trans… This is exactly why I never wanted her to find out. I know she’s not bluffing, she kicked out my older brother 5 years ago when he came out as bi… He’s halfway across the country now, and isn’t in the best financial situation. I hate having to ask, but I need money to get to him. He and his boyfriend have agreed to let me crash on their couch. Dad for one AU: it finally comes out that AFO is Izuku's Dad, and when asked about it, all Izuku says is, "yeah, well, he was an awful one", like every other time his dad was mentioned.
