For someone in need

I am not quite sure who I am writing this for whether it's myself or for somebody else that just needs to hear it. But it's something that's been on my heart and mind for a little while . My job has afforded me the opportunity to get back to a good place in my life. And to reflect on different things about my own life which I guess I couldn't help but want to share a little bit .  Life is hard and we all struggle through it in our own ways, no one persons suffering is the same but it can be similar. And because of that similarity and our own internal drive to connect with one another we like to root for the underdog. We as human beings love stories about people who have lost everything and then keep trying to move forward. Because we connect with that. We see someone who in all rights should be hopeless and yet they're still trying and it gives us hope, the want and the drive to keep trying ourselves. Because we connect with those feelings and we realize that we're not the only ones struggling to make it through the day and to continue moving forward. Because giving up is easy that's the easy thing in life. It doesn't lead to happiness or joy in life though. But it's the moving forward that's hard and to continue putting one foot in front of the other that eventually leads two things getting better.  Life can really suck sometimes, I can speak firsthand of that. But we get so focused on what sucks about life that we forget to look around and see all the things that are so going right. And and it's not always our own doing on that focus of how much things suck. It is to a point our own doing but not completely. Because we struggle with things like depression and anxiety and Society telling us that were supposed to be perfect and need to be happy all the time and that's just not how life is. And it's okay to be depressed or to be anxious about something.  But you got to remember to not let it completely consumed you. Which once again that is the easy thing to do to give in to those little voices that tell you that things aren't going to get better that you're not good enough. But things do get better and you always hear people say oh it's going to get better and it's really hard to believe them. Because the here-and-now sucks so bad that it's hard to believe. But it comes down to you have to make the choice are you going to let those things and what the world tells you consume you? Are you going to to be a victim of circumstance and let whatever happens happen? Are you going to let them Write Your Story for your life? Or are you going to write your own story? Because we are only given one life and it's ours to live that is the gift of free will. So what are you going to do with your story? And how are you going to let your story impact the lives of others and those around you?

A commission I made for a friend. I haven’t worked on a mech design like this in a while, and it was a lot of fun. Big Bulky Robots are still one of my favourites.

Augus nuzzled into his side and purred as they made their way from the restaurant. “Likewise if I am honest.” he smiled at him.

Augus was warm against him.  Warm and comforting and spirits had it been a while since Terius felt this relaxed.  He looped an arm around Aug’s shoulder.  “And does it go for both kinds of dances?”  He smiled faintly.  “Regular dancing and…”  He trailed off.  “…heh, inappropriate dancing?”

Augus sat there quietly and listen to their story, and he couldn't help but laugh when the story came to its end. "worst I have ever experienced is walking in on him watching porn." he stuck his tongue out at Atrius. "see I would have joined him and everything but you know I'm not really into the whole straight stuff because I'm pretty fucking gay myself. But I don't care what he watches, it was just how awkward it was after."

Iulius:*dumps a load of moonshine at your door with no explanation or reason*

“so what’s with all the moonshine?” Augus chuckled softly.

Augus followed him from their new home while on Ilium. The walk to the restaurant didn't take all that long and was rather pleasant and quiet. His eyes searched the room reading everyone and everything. After a short while they were seated per their reservation. Augus had been quiet their entire walk, whether that was him taking on his role or just being quiet couldn't be said. He followed Grimm as they made their way to their table.
