Now, let's dive into the main part. This freaking James guy is an absolutely overwhelming character. Like, he has some ridiculous trauma. Why would anyone feel underwhelmed just by the sound of a clock? And the way he mistreated Wendy? That's literally unacceptable and disrespectful. But his smooth talking did melt me inside. I'm not gonna lie, but overall, this guy's aura is questionable. Throughout this book, he just finds his desire to get revenge, but in the end? He couldn't do it with his own hands! But anyway, this book actually has some of my favourite lines and the smut literally coated all the cringy parts. That's why, I won't complain. Now, Wendy, this girl, at first, was just an ordinary main female lead of a romance book ( like what we see in most smut books), but honestly, her badass vibe was actually electrifying at the end, and I quite like it. At first, I was kinda feeling bored because the first few pages didn't really show anything important or actioned. But once I got into the story, I'll tell you honestly, it has some jaw-dropping, wide-eyed scenes. And the plot twist was pretty intense, I like it. Overall, this is my first read book by Emily, and I think I'll give her books a try. I liked Hooked for the smut and James's smooth talk. Forgot to mention, this book is a Peter Pan retall, but set in a modern world.

In the first book of this series, I didn't get Preston. Like in the first half, I found him pretty annoying. Even tho we had seen that he was trying to get better. And in this book, he turned into a wise guy. We got to see a Preston who didn't only think about himself but also could think about the person he loved. Like even though I hadn't read The Frat Boy, I was pretty sure that I couldn't think of anyone except Sydney to be his girlfriend. It was a great way to finish this series. Colin was pretty cool as a big brother. And I think the best scene was when Preston got to taste his own medicine. Karma is real. Overall, it was a "forbidden-brothers best friend-overprotective/ asshole parents" trope. The story was enjoyable.

Okay, the cliffhanger on the Gabriel fallen is literally nothing! Like what the actual hell is wrong with this massive cliffhanger? Anyways, this book was a roller-coaster on a full speed. Like, the plot! The storyline! The climax! Everything was top-notch! I still can't get over the betrayal from Michelle. Like, when Mercy was filling her up with the agent stuff, I already felt like something was not right with Michelle. And to be honest, that FBI agent was actually pretty terrifying and at some point, I seriously thought Mercy would tell her everything she knew. And to be honest, this book doesn't have much spice like the first 2, but I'm okay with it. Cause here, you'll get to see the boss girl Mercy in mode and Badass Gabriel trying to figure out his fillings for Mercy. This book definitely goes with the "He falls first" trope. Oh and the tension between Caleb and Merrick was so visible that I feel like something will definitely happen between them in the next book. This series is seriously playing with my nerves. It's well-written, and the characters are perfectly built. And now, I've to read the last instalment of this series. But I'm concerned that The Fallen Empire is not as good as the first 3 books. But I've no other choice. I have to know what will happen to Mercy. And how Gabriel will sort things out. Overall, from this book, the actual shit begins.

That cliffhanger! That freaking cliffhanger! It's literally 2 in the morning and now I want to jump into the 3rd book! The storyline was not very extraordinary, however, the way Miss Tucker told the story is definitely out of the world. I mean, just the character-building can tell how well she can write. Mercy was by far one of my favourite female protagonists. Usually in dark romance, I get more invested in the male protagonist than the female. But in this book, Both Gabriel and Mercy just know where they came from and what they are capable of. Mercy is the boss girlie like she is so hard to get coded. But in some parts, it looks like she tends to overthink. Overall, I couldn't hate Mercy. Gabriel is my man! He is like touch my woman and you die coded. The way he was falling for Mercy in every chapter. It was so visible in his behaviour that he just couldn't get Mercy out of his head. Though his attitude was super annoying and arrogant, it was considerable. Other side characters like Gabe, Michelle, and The Perries bros, did a good job of moving the story. Overall, it was a good plot with enough smut.

Okay, I listened to the audio, and now we need to sit down and talk about it. It was an overall cliche. Like all the stuff it had on this book was predictable. But, why did I give it 3 stars? Because I loved the possessiveness he showed, well, taking a girl hostage and then forcefully marrying her was a crime. But, in the end, he really did care for her and cherished her in his heart. Romance is cute when both of them know that they are right for each other. I'm not gonna go into further details cause there kinds of books are so many in this book industry with, the same characters, same plots, but maybe in different timelines or different...you know, the reason for reading dark romance. So, let's just sum up with one word: okay

I'm lost. I'm lost in this Mateo and Rufus world. This book is well-written by a brilliant author and I felt like I was there with them. On every page, I SAW what they were doing. I Can't express with words how much I cried in the last scene. This book literally destroyed my mental health and I need a lot of time to recover.
What I absolutely loved about this book is that every character had a link with each other. All of them might not be known to each other personally, but they do see each other once in their lifetime. I'm very glad that I gave this book a chance and there are some fictional characters that you never want to forget, you always want them to be in your mind. I guess, for me, Mateo and Rufus are that kind of character.
Btw, I really wanna have a friend gang like the Plutos. They are the best.

The book im scared to read
Tumblr media
I got this book as a birthday gift last year and since then, it's been on my tbr cart. I don't know why my guts keep telling me that you can not handle the sorrow and grief and agony this book has.
I want to read this but for some unknown reason, I haven't read that masterpiece yet.
But the good thing is, I promised myself that I'll finish this book by the end of the year. So, I still got time.

A lot to tell. I brought this book in 2018, it was looking at me ever since. Idk why I grabbed this book and started to read it. But, I did, and here I am, putting my words together.
This murder mystery/thriller was nerve-tracking. I never thought I would love a thriller. Even though I was looking for something new.
Okay, so from the very first, I discussed Anna. Such a jealous woman. And, she's such a vanilla wife, I also think she was in a dilemma all the time with Tom. I mean, she wanted Tom, but like this? Ig cheating is not my favorite sub-genre.
All of the characters struggle through childhood trauma. Because everyone was track headed. Megan was so desperate about being seen, and tbh, I didn't like that.
Rachel, I felt pity for her all the time. And yk, I've never read a drunk pov, and now, I understand why people don't like them at all.
DI Gaskill and Reily were so annoying. I hate Reily, she was so unkind and rude, I didn't see her soften anywhere in this book.
However, there are some parts ( mostly Rachel's pov) that were so exciting that I just couldn't put them down. So, I would say, it's a fast read and also very easy. So, non-English readers will understand and enjoy this book very easily, I bet.
So, go ahead and read this.
After reading this book, I watched the movie, and I must have to say, they couldn't put the thriller in the movie at all. They could've done better in the movie. So, I don't think the movie portrays the book that well.

I AM BACK!!
Finally, after long months of avoiding all the dms and everything in this place, I'm back for good. :))
My high school is over and I'm gonna be active this whole summer, before college starts, of course.
God! I missed reading so much. Literally can not wait to smell the pages again and go back to my real mode.
I've been thinking of reading something new for a while, a genre that not goes with my persona, and I've got the treasure. I've started to read a murder mystery book. I'm not gonna say the name now. But can't wait to share my thoughts about it.
It feels so good to be in this world again. I feel like a foreigner now fr.

Hi!
The reason im doing this is because im taking a break from reading. If I say honestly, im behind in my schoolwork and this institute is giving me so much pain on my ass that I have to take this decision.
Moreover, that is my last year in high school, so now, I've to have my whole concentrate on school and study.
I'll start reading next year. I know, not being able to read feels like a part of me is gone. But, I've to do this for my own good.
Anyways, see you next year. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Synopsis -_-
Quinn and Grahamโ€™s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.
All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?
Review*_*
First of all, I want to say that I love Colleen Hoover so much. Her November 9 was the first book that made me fall in love with this romance genre. I've read almost all of her popular books. This one is also all over the booktok, but not like it ends with us, but I've seen so many booktoks and reviews that, I thought this book might be something good.
But it proves me wrong.
I'm only giving this 3 stars because the meeting of Graham and Quinn was very tremendous. It's very appreciatable that it talked about faith. But the whole 'not having a baby' thing..... made me pretty uncomfortable. And the end...I feel like it was very quick. Like, I thought there will be some more parts, about how they rebuilt the relationship again, but there weren't any elaborate details, but it's okay, I just imagined how they slove their things. But here is a question, why didn't they buy a puppy earlier?
But anyway, it was good and very short. After reading a very jet-black romance book, it was a good refreshing book.
But not my favourite.

The Diamond
Death walks alongside me,
But the reaper is no match for me.
I'm trapped in a world full of monsters dressed as men, and those who aren't as they seem.
They won't keep me forever.
I no longer recognize the person I've become,
And I'm fighting to find my way back to the beast who hunts me in the night.
They call me a diamond,
But they've only created an angel of death.
The Hunter
I was born a predator,
With ruthlessness ingrained in my bones.
When what's mine is stolen from me in the night,
Like a diamond hidden within a fortress,
I find that I can no longer contain the beast.
Blood will paint the ground as I tear apart this world to find her.
And bring her back to where she belongs.
No one will escape my wrath,
Especially not those who have betrayed me.
Warning: This is the second and final installment to the Duet. You must read Haunting Adeline first.
Review ^_^
Okay, so this book ends and so does the whole series. And how I'm feeling currently?
Well, it's hard to explain. This book JUST messed with my head. And you want to know the funny part, I fucking loved it.
So, this goddamn man, Zade, and this Badass possessive woman Addie are the best characters I've ever seen. They'll be in my heart, for the rest of my life. I knew from the first that my heart is not strong when it comes to deep chaos, and I learned that very well in this book. I've never thought things will get that fucked up. I'm couldn't hold back my tears when I read the train scene. The way Zade wrapped his arms around Addie, was just outstanding!
Another thing, I never thought Addie would have to go through with the struggle and.......I actually never thought the author would let her feel the pain. But I really love H.D. Carlton for showing the true scenario of skin/ human trafficking. It hunts me every time I think about the hopelessness Addie felt in that house.
Other than that, Zade and Addie are meant to be. They are born just to stay together. And to be honest, in this book, my love for Addie is geared up. I need the same confidence as her.
And Zade. What can I say about this man! I know it sounds cliche, but he just get my standard to a whole new level. And im okay with it.
This book is so damn dark and triggered that some of the parts disturbed me. So, please read the TW at the very beginning of the book.
I'll miss them much.
I'm not ready to say goodbye yet. That's why sending them one last *tight hug* and *forehead kiss*.
This song hits me so damn much while reading this book.

Review ยฐ_ยฐ
I'm literally out of the fucking world! This book just simply ruined me.
Okay, so this book slap in the face and told me, "August, just accept that you have an unhealthy relationship with fictional men", and yeah, I, now, wholeheartedly agree with it.
It took me just a day to finish this. And it's so addicting that I just couldn't put this damn book down. And before you read that book, just know that book has a massive fucking cliffhanger at the end. So, just buy the whole series if you are interested to read this. The pain of not having the sequel on my hands is nothing but painful.
And most importantly, this book has so much deep fucked shits. I mean, some of the scenes just gave me goosebumps and disgust. I feel terrible, I knew that this world has some crazy shit, but, I never thought that those bitches have no heart.
Sex trafficking is not new, it's going on for years and years. It makes me angry that the people with power don't take steps to prevent that. This book just shows the real scenario of this fucked up world.
And Zade, this man is just a fucking God. I'm just in love with him. His possessiveness, and aura, the conference...... They just made my heart hammer crazily. And Adeline, this goddamn woman, fucking badass, I just loved her. Their love story is just....out of the world. I'll get down on my knees for Zade. And I'll let him do anything to me.
Please read the TW before reading this book.
Ps. I almost get an orgasm in the gun scene. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™„๐ŸŒŠ

Taylor Jenkins Reid.
โญโญโญโญโญ
Synopsis -_-
Four famous siblings throw an epic party to celebrate the end of the summer. But over the course of twenty-four hours, their lives will change forever.
Malibu: August, 1983. Itโ€™s the day of Nina Rivaโ€™s annual end-of-summer party, and anticipation is at a fever pitch. Everyone wants to be around the famous Rivas: Nina, the talented surfer and supermodel; brothers Jay and Hud, one a championship surfer, the other a renowned photographer; and their adored baby sister, Kit. Together, the siblings are a source of fascination in Malibu and the world overโ€”especially as the offspring of the legendary singer, Mick Riva.
The only person not looking forward to the party of the year is Nina herself, who never wanted to be the center of attention, and who has also just been very publicly abandoned by her pro tennis player husband. Oh, and maybe Hudโ€”because it is long past time to confess something to the brother from whom heโ€™s been inseparable since birth.
Jay, on the other hand, is counting the minutes until nightfall, when the girl he canโ€™t stop thinking about promised sheโ€™ll be there.
And Kit has a couple secrets of her ownโ€”including a guest she invited without consulting anyone.
By midnight the party will be completely out of control. By morning, the Riva mansion will have gone up in flames. But before that first spark in the early hours before dawn, the alcohol will flow, the music will play, and the loves and secrets that shaped this familyโ€™s generations will all come bubbling to the surface.
Malibu Rising is a story about one unforgettable night in the life of a family: the night they each have to choose what they will keep from the people who made them... and what they will leave behind.
Review ^_^
I love this book so much!
I have a lot to say, those little things are crashing inside my head, and now, let me just tell you, if you like summer, beach, surfing, heart broke, wild parties brutal inhuman acts, some actors and media personalities becoming crazy, an older sister who literallly was the main pillar of an almost broken family, best brother relationship, an asshole who can not hold his dick on his fucking pants, a family, a sweet, marvellous relationship of siblings, an asshole husband and most importantly, major plot twists, then what the hell you're doing? GO RUN AND READ THIS BOOK!!!
Taylor Jenkins Reid never disappointed me, ever! Her books.... It's a really out of the world kinda thing. She just slays on this book. Her writing is totally different and unique. She knows the assignment.
In this book, the characters say so much that it has lots to take, but ill try to make it short.
โ€ข Nina: she's the main character. And she is the best sister. However, her decision wasn't for her. Her entire life, all she did was take care of her siblings. And im so happy about what she did at last. She deserves it.
โ€ข Kit: she's badass. I like that about her. I love how she says everything that comes to her mind. She just doesn't give a fuck about what other people think about her actions. She cool.
โ€ข Hud: this man, is just awesome. Throughout the book, he just showed me, how a man can treat a woman. He's a comforting character. <33 him.
โ€ข Jay: he's good, I don't have anything specific to say about him. However, Jay and Hud's relationship was out of the world. They really meant for each other. They are like brother soulmates. ( if that even exists)
โ€ขJune: this woman didn't deserve what she had her whole life. *shaking head sadly*
โ€ข Mick: you know, I don't want to talk about Mick. If he burns in hell, I don't really care much. He can go fuck himself.
Btw, other people like Carrie Soto ( I really love her boldness, can't wait to read her book) Branden ( fuck him ) Casey ( she's pretty good. I <33 ed her). Tarine ( she's a good best friend) all of them were needed in this book. They might not be into many parts, but who cares? These characters were interesting.
So, that's what I actually wanted to say about this book. I love this book so much.

Synopsis ยฐ_ยฐ
Spending her thirtieth birthday alone is the last thing that dating columnist Cleo wanted, but she is going on a self-coupling quasi-sabbatical--at the insistence of her boss--in the name of re-energizing herself and adding a new perspective to her column. The remote Irish island she's booked is a far cry from London, but at least it's a chance to hunker down in a luxury cabin and indulge in some quiet, solitary self-care while she figures out her next steps in her love life and her career.
Mac is also looking forward to some time to himself. With his life in Boston deteriorating in ways he can't bring himself to acknowledge, his soul searching has brought him to the same Irish island in search of his roots and some clarity. Unfortunately, a mix-up with the bookings means both solitude seekers have reserved the same one-bedroom hideaway on exactly the same dates.
Instantly at odds with each other, Cleo and Mac don't know how they're going to manage until the next weekly ferry arrives. But as the days go by, they no longer seem to mind each other's company quite as much as they thought they would...
Written with Josie Silver's signature warmth, charm and insights into the human heart, One Night on the Island explores the meaning of home, the joys of escape and how the things we think we want are never the things we really need.
Review ^_^
Never in my life did I think I had to take that amount of time just to finish this damn book.
To be honest, it was a slow read. The only thing I love about this book is that it inspired me about self-love. It's not that I don't love myself, but this book is all about self-love, self-marriage, and most importantly, not-so-spicy holiday romance, which is fine, the parts where Cleo and Mack sleep together were really sweet. But, Mack is not my favourite male character. I just don't feel for him.
Lastly, I get inspired by Cleo (in the self-love parts). But, I don't think I'll recommend this book to anyone.
Ps. I don't have any favourite quotes in this book because, most of them are average ( and some of them are so personal to share ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ).
Ps.ps. I don't know if im angry at myself for wasting my time or not. But, I guess I don't regret it.
Ps.ps.ps. ( the last one, I promise!). Actually, im too lazy to take the pictures and edit them, plus the place where I live, is currently facing a blackout, so im writing this in my brother's room, in the dark. hehehehehe

Has anyone watched this shitty Netflix movie "365 Days?" I hate this so much that it hurts. Every time I see some "hot" clips from that shit, I get cringed. I mean, this movie doesn't have any strong plot. Looks like people only watched it for the, you know, the sexual stuff, that has this movie. And the dialogues, oh God! ๐Ÿ˜ต only newly learned to talk babies gonna use them.
I really regretted watching this ass movie. And I'll eat chicken feet ( the food I hate the most ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ) rather than watching the sequel. I head that there'll be another one! Oh God! JUST STOP.
And the fucking "baby girl" *rolling eyes* ( typing that makes me mad) nickname literally makes me feel like I should die.
It's just my opinion.
