I'm baaaaaaaaack...
So after not posting for months a months.... a recap:
1. Had 3 jobs, grad school, craft beer project for around 4 months. Had to juggle all this and the GF and my mental sanity! Suffice to say, there is a saying in Spanish that goes "el que mucho abarca, poco aprieta" (one who covers a lot of land/area, holds/controls few of it).
This ultimately meant that I got left my regular job, went back to consulting with a few of my clients, but FINALLY had time for my beer project and school. Which brings me to...
2. OUR BEER PROJECT IS TAKING OFF! We had a 1st big event and had great reviews for our Hazelnut Brown Ale. Got 3 more events in November and looks like we landed a spot on a morning TV Show.Things are looking good for Hellixir Beer!

Aaaaaaaaaand they're off!!!
After months, we FINALLY have our beer logo and label, and opened up our Facebook and Twitter page!
Also, we decided to back out of a beer fest in Ensenada (very unorganized) and put those resources into hosting our own beer tastings!
This project is about to take off!!

quick update:
- We are in the process of joining a craft beer association in Baja; but there are still unorganized..
- which led us to pull out of a beer festival, high costs and pricey tickets for goers = no go!!!
- our logo is almost done... finally!!!

Pale Ale = Success!!!
So we finally bottled our pale ale, which we had added tea leaves from the Baja region, aaaaaaaaaaand.... SUCCESS!! It came out great, smell lemon citrusy, you take a sip and you get a lemon taste in your pallet, but then a bit of sweetness from the other leaves on your tongue.
We may have a winner!

We've been robbed!!!
So during the Holidays, some idiots broke into my friend's house and robbed our fermenting brews to be and some equipment.. and didnt thake anything else!!!
It seems real fishy... we might be down, be never out!! We are in the process of buying new equipment, and finishing up our logo!!
