THUNDERBOLTS* MONOPOLY

hello hi i'm making a version of monopoly with the thunderbolts* because...why not

i call it The Thunderopoly* lol

so far i've only made these cards! (they continue below the line + explanation of the colors)

COLORS:

first of all, i knew i wanted alexei and yelena to be complementary (opposite) colors, same goes for bucky and john

alexei is red (#e30022) because of his codename lol

yelena is turquoise (#00e3c1) and besides being the opposite of red, it reminds me of Natasha's hair when they were young

john was supposed to be another shade of blue because i wanted him to have one of the colors of the u.s. flag, but i also wanted him and bucky to have complementary colors so i chose these colors

bob's cards are yellow (#ffe300) monstly because of sentry but also because i wanted him to have a cheerful and bright color

i initially wanted ava's color to be a light blue because it reminded me of her first suit but i also wanted to use another color so i ended up picking green (#66b734) because of her eyes lol

the thunderbolts' cards are based on the soundtrack and the color (#e1c702) is based on the movie logo + i wanted it to be like a dirty yellow?

for valentina and mel i knew i wanted a color that didn't contain any yellow (since yellow is the thunderbolts' color) and i ended up picking lavender (#b392e0)

STATIONS and UTILITIES:

the stations are simply places we see in the movie

for the utilities i didn't want to use the monopoly ones (electric company and water works) so i decided to replace them with companies!

Alfredo's Bail Bonds is where bob worked as the chicken mascot

and we see Global Nexus Broadcasting (GNB) when valentina announces the new avengers

Ooo I love this idea !!! okay- some of this is canon and some of this is me just sharing my own ideas so I hope this is okay 🙏🏻

Bucky Barnes -

he wears a lot of plain clothes, dark jeans (normally black) and either a plain t-shirt OR a henley shirt-!!!

John Walker -

again, pretty plain clothes as a whole. plain t-shirts and long sleeve button neck shirts, with jeans (he is more inclined to wear dark blue though rather than Bucky's black ones)

Robert 'Bob' Reynolds -

pajamas and oversized jumpers for the win- this man lives in comfy crew neck jumpers, comfy trousers or joggers occasionally and pajamas!!!

Yelena Belova -

arguably the most fashionable on the team, her style changes often / she doesn't exactly stick to one style (I think she's still figuring out what she likes). a big graphic t-shirt fan- she has t-shirts on different bands, movies and all sorts of other things. she LOVES them!!! when it comes to bottoms as long as they are somewhat comfortable and practical I don't think she's too fussy.

Ava Starr -

okay- I'm not sure what exactly she needs her suit for and if she can wear other stuff? I really don't know it all- so to make this easier on my brain and technicalities we are going to say she can wear other stuff 100%. leggings all the way when it comes to bottoms !!! I think she'd love knitted jumpers, I also think she'd rock a camisole top. she's up there with Yelena when it comes to being fashionable :3

Alexei Shostakov -

vest tops, robes and avengerZ merch :/ also he has been told to put pants on multiple times because he keeps walking around in vest tops and boxers forgetting that there are other people in the tower..
