That's cause I'm writing a Wolf River fanfic and chapter one should be out shortly

It's the fake dating au I've brainstormed about before so yall should read it when I post it on ao3 :]

MORE Wolf River fake dating au! Plot

Ok so since they have not left my head even after I made my first post, I'm putting out more that happens while they "fake" date

So when Apple confesses Cerise fully believes he is being pranked and says no, but later like the next day he says yes because he thinks "maybe I can fix her"

Since this is still ever after high, Cerise hides the fact that his father is the big bad wolf and so he's in the closet gender-wise to most people, so most believe that he uses she/her (hes trying to keep up that damsel appearance so people dont suspect anything but as time goes on and he gets closer to graduating, he also stops caring what others think) but he comes out to Apple like the day after they get together

Apple is a lesbian but doesnt know because she's super repressed and also is like "Of course I don't like any guys because I have my prince charming in the future" and "Its fine that I'm not at all romantic interested in said prince because I will be later, I swear" but with Cerise being fully out about being a butch lesbian, that leads Apple to silently question her identity (this gets more important later on)

Also a meet-the-parents kinda of thing when Cerise isn't open about his father yet but does want to introduce his girlfriend to his mother and Apple also wants to introduce her girlfriend/butch boyfriend to her mom but Cerise is sure Snow White would kill him on the spot so they decide Cerise should introduce Apple to Red(his mother) first

Guys this is how I believe Wolf River fake dating au to be, completely on Apple's side though

She saw Cerise aurafarming once and went "I need to know everything about them" and then later fell in love with them

have realized that while i am not a fan necessarily of "people meet and immediately fall in love" i am a fan of "people meet and are immediately obsessed with each other." the love can come later but the absolute fixation should be immediate

So since Wolf River is still on my mind

I'm giving them a fake dating au

It starts during the first season of Eah/after True hearts day where Ashlynn and Hunter reveal they're dating and Apple says she doesn't understand but supports them anyways

So the Wolf River fake dating comes when Apple wants to try and understand in the best way she can which is by actually (fake) dating a rebel/someone outside her story

She first tries to find guys who are rebels to date but none of the guys she's interested enough to even fake date so she goes to Raven's friends

Apple doesn't try Raven as Raven is part of her story (and she still wants Raven to follow her destiny) so she instead goes to ones of Raven's best friend, Cerise

Apple confesses to Cerise and at first Cerise goes "What prank show are you trying to put me on" but then realizes he may be able get Apple to stop being so destiny are guaranteed and decides to go "Whatever sure"

So boom Wolf River are now fake real dating

So I've been thinking about Cerise and Apple together ever since this one line in 'The unfairest of them all' where Apple can't come up with anything to say about Cerise

So I'm calling them Wolf River as their ship name based off of Wolf River apples

So here's my personal designs for Darling Charming and Cerise Hood

This is my Darling design :]

They use They/She/He and are a demigirl butch lesbian

I believe she would love Furina from Genshin due to androgynous she is and so Darling's hair is styled based off Furina's

This is my Cerise design (without the hood)

He uses He/They and are a nonbinary butch lesbian

I liked the idea of the Wolf ears being more wolf-ish than Canon and also bigger, same with the hair, I like the idea since they get more wolf-ish as they get older more wolf traits appear like more white hair and it gets curlier like their father's

Cerise's scar is from Ramona after they had a nasty fight when they were younger but they made up and are all good now

Dude the eah book 'The unfairest of them all' is brutal??

Since I rewatched eah I decided to read the books

But I read unfairest of them all and like?? They just decided to beat the crap out of Cerise in one book??

Like what do mean Cerise and Raven just tried to talk to Red hood about rebelling against destiny and it led the Hoods and Wolves trying to banish Cerise

Like all he tried to do was help Raven cause the Hoods and Wolves decided to go Salem witch trial on her ass and everybody who's known Cerise growing up immediately turns on him and calls to banish him and calls him an abomination when he reveals he is the child of both Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf

Like even Grandma doesn't really care other than a "Guys I think this is wrong but rules are rules", like?? And Red is genuinely just sobbing at the idea she might lose her child

And then Cerise has to race/fight against a hundred other Hoods and dozens of other Wolves and he wins?? He better full grown adult/full blooded wolves and wins??

This is why Cerise is my goat and I completely believe Cerise to be the (psychically) strongest character

( Also the book gave description/strong implication of Cerise with very wolf like teeth and that makes happy :] )
