Woah so uh... it's been a while.

Let me explain why I haven't been on;

For those who know me intimately, a lot happened last year that really changed my life. For one, I was friends with this one guy in one band [not Avion Roe, I swear] and long story short we're no longer friends. However, because that happened I lost touch with bands in general. This was an ongoing disconnect however, I suppose it stemmed from me maturing, my priorities redefining themselves etc., but I no longer felt the urge to track bands. I no longer wanted updates, music wasn't the foremost topic on my mind. I'm no longer driven to go to concerts, be in the front row, buy magazines and post the pages on my walls as I did as a teenager. Music still is something big in my life, but it's just not... my life. That aside however, last year I also started my first year of college and subsequently moved from the east coast to the west coast for said school. Freshman year of college left me with little to no time for social media, let alone a sometimes forgotten band blog.

So in combination with the above factors and the fact that Avion Roe hasn't really done much for me to report on besides the 'The Escape' M/V, I've been absent from this blog, and to be honest, have little to no intention of carrying on with it.

I'm leaving the blog activated in case of a change of heart, but before I go I have to say:

I'm so incredibly proud of the community Avion Roe's fanbase has become. When I first started listening to the band, there was a small fanbase- they were a texas local band if anything, and now it's grown into something so much bigger. I'm super proud of the guys, and I'm proud of the fans for standing behind such an outstanding band. Continue doing what you love, supporting genuine music, and being there for your fellow fan.
