I am scared of what the future holds for me: the world is ending, temperature is rising, and nothing seems to stop the inevitable end. War, diseases and conflicts tear humanity apart, and right now i feel all of them near.

I wait in fear for what the present is becoming: a world where as a girl i need to reach beauty standards that i never seem to reach, where some old guys decide what happens to my body, where i can be raped, where i can be kidnapped, where i can end up in prostitution, either sold into or because i need to make it 'til the end if the month. A world where still slavery exist, where human trafficking still exist where you can still be killed for your religion, a world where people are killed for protesting. A world full of hate for your sex, your skin colour, your religion, your gender and sexuality, or disability, and can die for it.

I don't want to die, but... sometimes i do wish i was never born.

I know you loved me the best you could, you wanted a child. But you hurt me so much.

You were supposed to be my mother, and yet since i was 8 i became your mother, full of responsabilities that not even you could tollerate. Always talking about your problems and your interests, but never actually caring about mine.

You left me alone for months when i was just a teenager, and even now you aren't here, but far away.

Dear world, why was i born?

Life is difficult. Beautiful but so difficult. I can feel my heart breaking, my mind exploding, my limbs torn apart. I am shaking, i have to continue this show, but it's getting harder and harder, and i am getting more and more crumbled by life.

It's hard to undestand people and myself. I feel like i can be true to myself only when nobody is watching. I am not a human, just a shadow wearing a mask, mimicking what a human acts like, and still getting it wrong.

Am i broken? Would my life be different if someone else, anyone else, was in my shoes?

Would the people around me be happier if i wasn't me? Even if i try my best to make them happy?

I can feel the void inside me grow, eating me inside out, piece by piece. I just want to cry and scream and in my head i am crying tears of blood.

I really wish i wasn't born, not like myself, but i can't undo what's already been done.

... at least i can go to sleep.

certain coping strategies become necessary when your social media following reaches a certain size, and it’s always slightly painful seeing folk who haven’t learned them yet. for those with growing audiences, here’s some tips:

1.    don’t stress about unanswered asks. your inbox will gradually become unmanageable. it’s cool/flattering that people want to talk, but you don’t owe anyone responses.

2.    turning anon off lets you answer asks quickly and privately.

3.    people will not read your FAQ, or your Before You Ask rules. instead of replying in annoyance, just quickly delete these messages and move on.

4.    turn off direct messaging for non-mutuals.

5.    turn off submissions (unless you REALLY enjoy them).

6.    block block block block. one strike you’re out. don’t bother speaking to harassers - giving them unfettered access to your inbox is a form of self harm.

7.    at some point if you’re an lgbt+ ally you’ll receive messages disagreeing with your support of a sexuality/gender (trans/nonbinary/ace/bi/queer support is what mostly gets folk angry). DO NOT reply privately, they will 100% screenshot you and post it out of context. either ignore/block or put enough thought into your words that you’re willing to have them broadcasted.

8.    becoming publicly angry with someone will result in harassment being sent their way, so either message the person privately to resolve the issue, or move on. don’t be shitty.

9.    people will be outrageously vile to you. people will threaten you. when this happens, disengage from the online world. talk to friends, hug a dog, eat your favourite snack, and protect your mental health.

10.    people will treat you as an authority on subjects you’re not qualified to discuss. you are NOT an authority. like it or not, you now have the power to widely spread misinformation – either boost the voices of experts instead, or put careful research into your words. if you’re wrong, boost the correction.

11.    you’ll make mistakes, learn roughly, and accumulate trauma. take your weariness seriously, and make sure the fun outweighs the bad.

So…

I figure the system before empires would be a network of kingdoms. The ones that know how to make portals can access other kingdoms, and the ones that can’t stay isolated.

Extra info:

- The Kingdom of Dreams is heavily populated. - Pixelia only has a few residents. They’re basically a collection of glitch outcodes that stay together.

Btw, I might need some extra characters to use for when the kingdoms merge to the 2 empires, so if anyone has any AU’s or oc’s that I can use, please submit a few! (Also I can’t have Template be the only Pixelian resident, so send some outcodes over if you want!)
