imagine you’re an f1 engineer and you spent like a decade and a half working with a seven time world champion who also understands the importance of having rock hard biceps and avoids marketing duties at all costs and you end becoming deeply enmeshed with him on an emotional and spiritual level until he DECIDES TO LEAVE and even though you wanted to end your career with the champion, they replace him with a small tactile child who says he’s going to tickle you if you don’t participate in his marketing video.

i am driving up to see my family for my annual summer visit on Sunday. I will not be able to watch the race. I will not go on Tumblr until I get the chance to watch it, so that is the reason for my upcoming disappearance. Oscar will win.

Welcome to the Logan Sargeant Fic Fest!

Hosted by @ashzerog19, this fest is dedicated to all creative works surrounding our favorite American, Logan Sargeant! The event will be hosted on AO3 but you’ll be able to find posts on this account for each individual fic when they’re posted. The purpose of this fic fest is to encourage creatives and fans of Logan to let their creative spirit run wild and create art (in forms of writing or anything else) for other fans!

Ground Rules

The fic must be centered around Logan (as that’s the whole point of the fest!)

The minimum word count for written works is 1.5k

You can create as many works as you wish with different prompts, the more the merrier!

Secondary ships are allowed but Logan must be part of the main ship. Fics do not require any romantic relationships at all!

All ratings & tropes are allowed but proper tagging is imperative. Also make sure you’re respecting the DNWs of the request you’re fulfilling (if they have any!)

FAQ for the Logan Sargeant Fic Fest

What kind of stuff can I create for this event?

Any other forms of creative works other than written are permitted and encouraged! Let your mind run free with fanarts, graphics, web weaves, video edits. The world’s your oyster!

Where will the event be held?

An AO3 collection is open and that’s where most of the fest will be held! You’ll also be able to find posts on this tumblr account to promote the works related to this fest! And if the creators make a post on their tumblr, they can tag this account so I can repost it here!

How does prompt submitting work?

Starting on July 1st, you can go to the AO3 collection and submit any ideas you have and like to see come to life. If you need any help, feel free to contact me through this account!

Do I have to take multiple prompts? Can I do my own prompt? 

You don’t have to claim multiple prompts, one is more than enough but if you feel like you want and have the time to claim more than one, feel free to! And yes, you can self-prompt, you’ll just have to submit a prompt and claim it afterwards.

What is the minimum requirement for art, video edits and written works?

Apart from the 1.5k minimum for the written works, there’s no real minimum requirement for fanarts, graphics, web weaves, video edits and any other form of art. 

Are all ratings and tropes allowed?

All ratings and tropes are allowed as long as you tag them properly.

Can minors participate?

Yes, minors can participate and can join the discord (coming soon) but they cannot create anything explicit and can’t interact with 18+ content! I’m not gonna ask your ID to confirm your age but please, follow this rule, it’s really important

How can I participate if I'm not a creator?

Readers are always an important part of a fic fest! Reading the fics, leaving kudos and comments are really appreciated! You can also share this fest with your favorite Logan writers you know

What ships are allowed for the fest?

Any ships surrounding Logan are allowed as the main ship of the fic. Other ships that do not include Logan (like Lestappen or Landoscar) are allowed but they cannot be the main focus of the fic

How long does my submission have to be? What about multi chapter fics?

If you’re writing a fic, it has to be a minimum of 1.5k words. Multi chapter fics are allowed as long as the first chapter meets the minimum word count.

Can I prompt and not write? Can I self-prompt?

You can prompt without writing and you can also self-prompt!

What if I can’t finish my submission by the deadline?

I’ve left a week in between the submission date and the start of the reveals. It’s purposefully there for writers/creators who might not finish on time. If you don’t think you’ll be able to finish on time, just let me know so I don’t wonder what happened with your fic!
