Mother’s Day is almost here and while it’s a day of celebration, it’s also a day of heartache for so many. Those struggling with infertility, those who have lost children, those who have lost their mothers, those who aren’t speaking to their mothers and those who have had miscarriages all are reminded of so much sadness. It can be a day filled with a lot of pain. If you’re lucky enough to have your mom or to have your children, squeeze them tight and cherish that gift ❤️ Mother’s Day always rubs salt in my infertility wound. I struggle tremendously, so I decided to put some of it into words and I did what I do best and went on a crazy angry rant. Yesterday was my last day in my job which was very bittersweet. It’s just another change in this life I’m starting to recognize less and less. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. There’s always good that comes from change even if you don’t see it right away. I don’t see the good yet, but it’ll come. Want to know how I know that?? Hanky got to go on a small adventure today!! We went to Evergreen to test the altitude change on my face and head and to take him swimming of course 😊 The lab in him loves to swim. This will be the most open, honest and raw post you will read of mine. I got very close to giving up last week. The intense pain I have been living in got to be too much. If it wasn’t for divine intervention, I wouldn’t be here to share this with you today. I hope my story helps at least one other person. As a dear friend of mine said to me this morning, “Blast it. Yell it from the rooftops! This is real, true and deep!” This is me yelling it. Please share with anyone who might be feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders. It’s a dark place to be ❤️

Currently hospitalized for trigeminal neuralgia and the worst part is hearing that damn lullaby over the speaker each time a baby is born. Not only am I in a horrible amount of pain, but I also get to be reminded how I’m nowhere close to having my own baby multiple times a day. I may be a bit bitter...

Today I did the simplest of things that breathed life back into my soul. It was 70 degrees and sunny, I went on a drive, rolled my windows down and turned my music up. Brought back memories of a simpler time in life. Led Zeppelin soothes my mind and mends my heart ❤️ Perfect jams for a beautiful day
