Chinese History Timeline
There won't be a post this week (sorry, am finishing up a commission atm, should be done soon though), but I did make this Chinese history timeline in advance:
I realized that some dynasty names could be mixed up due to their pinyin being very similar (ex: Qin and Qing dynasty) and some time periods might be confusing because too many things were happening at once, so I thought it would be nice to give a timeline, and everyone could refer to it if needed.

he youguang is definitely the most stressed out character of the entire drama, he has the right chancellor up his ass wanting to check his conduct (allegedly), ma guyun harassing the fuck out of him for the letter of fealty first and then to control his commercial activitites, li shande constantly begging him for stuff such as transportation passes / horses / vases to carry the litchis / etc (extra activity: he has to be controlled because of suspicious ties with the left chancellor), A COCKFIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP TO WIN (cursed because his favourite roosters keep loosing or getting killed), amita as his step daughter that needs to be guided and aided if necessary. on top of that he's illiterate and has an assistant that hates him and would overthrow him if only he could.
surely my favourite character, he's so entertaining!

watching mercy for none because the action ahjuicy content should never run out of my life
#netflix mercy for none#kdrama#so ji sub#honestly i'm liking the storyline as well#i watched the first 4 episodes and besides the action that is obviously there and very stylishly done the contextualisation is done pretty#well. the revenge story is carried out; the flashbacks are pertinent; the rivalry / clash between gangs is building to its peak#i hope the last 3 episodes don't disappoint me because so far it's a solid 8 from me#and so ji sub is so DADDY💜
