I was acquainted with Sam Pascoe in the late 70s. Sometime in the early or mid 80′s I had heard that he had died of a heart attack - the rumor was that it was from steroid use. He told me he had a phd from a southern university (Georgia maybe) and he was very well spoken, a very nice and charming man.
