More effects practice. The pose on this, combined with the intricacies of Tala's costume almost killed me; they were much more challenging than the actual scenery or effects.

Life update: I've been struggling with chronic fatigue for a long time, but it's been heavily exacerbated lately by anaemia (Which I only found out I had recently). Anyway because of that I haven't been able to work on stuff, and have had no energy. Started taking supplements and they've begun to work already, so I had some energy to get this done. It was originally supposed to be a sketch of my comfort character, but I ended up going overboard lol.

I hope I get to post more self-indulgent art on my side account @let-it-ripperoni, too. I've been missing doing yumeship stuff. Anyway plz enjoy.

On a side note, I'm tired of some parts of the digimon fandom always complaining about Yamato's role in the series

Yamato is one of the most influential characters in the series. He is the main reason why the anchor/rival characters always exist

In 02 alone, Yamato not only influenced Ken's character but also Daisuke (Daisuke is supposed to be a combination of Yamato and Taichi not just Taichi)

during the og adventure air time, Yamato became the most popular character several times when they had polls.

Now I believe Yamato is not as popular as he used to be anymore but the point stands, he has been a very influential character and you can not pretend he doesn't deserve to be there alongside Taichi and want to replace him with *insert favorite character* instead

Thinking about Tai's hair again. I have a headcanon that he requires his long beautiful locks for nonverbal communication. Like they literally do the Studio Ghibli thing. He puffs up when angry and droops when sad. Which is overwritten by environmental factors like wet hair/strong winds/etc., but not headbands/goggles.

But it's so subtle you'd be standing pretty close to him to see it. I think only Kari/Agumon/possibly Matt would know this even exists. His hair's pretty short in Beyond- more than his summer trim in 02- so it would be even less noticeable. I do not know how he can possibly perform this feat in the epilogue.

As the option for a month long event and a week long event went neck to neck in the results, the Digimon Adventure Tri 10th Anniversary will be celebrated over the span of 3 weeks, beginning from 14 November'25 and last until 5th December'25.

The 10th Anniversary falls on 21st November, so this will give enough time to everyone for posting their contribution before or after.

Another post announcing the event will be shared at a later date.

Keeping in mind the wish for a spaced out event, there will be no day-wise prompts used, however feel free to submit any themes/topics that you want to explore during the event via our inbox.

Finally, to make sure everyone enjoys this event to the fullest, and is able to talk about Tri freely to their heart's content, the Digimon Adventure Tri Community is now open!
