Corindril raises an eyebrow. Why would they be taking an interest in my Kata? he wonders, reaching up to scratch behind his ear. 

“Most likely, Virabhadrasana, or the Warrior pose. Both forms,” he says carefully, unsure of himself. 

He rises from his chair, setting his feet, raising his arms to go through the motions while explaining, “They engage every portion of the body. Chest, shoulders, back, calves, ankles. They are marvelous both marvelous strengthening moves.”

His companions smirk while watching him, then burst out laughing all at once. Corindril’s face grows red with embarrassment, watching as the members of his table shake their heads, hold theirs face in their hands, slap their knees. He sits down, his cheeks a vibrant crimson after realizing the true context of the question.

“Something more akin to Balasana,” he mutters weakly.

For Corin, have they ever been in love?

Undoubtedly, though love takes many forms which are often subject to debate. He believed himself to be “in love” once, long ago in his youth, but as he aged he realized it was only an infatuation. He has certainly known companionable love, and the bonds of fellowship and friendship. Corin will even admit to knowing romantic love, some time ago, but alas, the world was coming to an end.
