If I'm going to test my mods, I am required to load into the most modded and CC heavy save I have. You know, play a day or two with the Dragon Lady and her Tiger Lover.

They're doing great. He's a good dad and gardener.

Sorted my mods (Finally. Again.) Loaded into a heavy CC game. All is well. Except - wow. So many of my CC have randomly had the specular go wonky. I've spent more time in S4S today blanking speculars. Just, wow.

Computer is home and appears to have all of its memories intact! I am happy.

I've also heard rumor of an update and broken things this week. I suppose I should sort out what mods need updates and try starting my sims game. Yeehaw.

Somehow got an electrical surge through my fiberoptic line? Which I know because the technician came out to replace parts for us to get our internet back.

In the mean time, my computer had been left to update and shut down during that time and now I have black screen of death. No attempt to boot.

Long story short, depending on how recovery goes, we may not see more of Franny exploring Fairies. I hadn't backed up her save to an external drive yet.

Summoned Spruce. Turns out after completing that last aspiration, Franny is a big fan of Spruce. Looked into what a fable is! I wont make you guys suffer through my fumbling through fables. In the winter.

Meanwhile, the neighborhood the fairies live in doesn't have snow. Maybe I'll pick up and move my sim there. I've had enough winter! I want to get into the fairy journey now anyway.

After announcing that Franny's micro home wasn't for her, I wondered if she could sleep on the floor in there. Sure can!

Apparently Franny's sim friends heard about her terrible date, so one invited her out to the Flea Market during the day and the other invited her to the Moon Revelry in the evening. No time to think about screwing up potential relationships!

Franny and I then spent a few sims days just sleeping and mediating. The snow was too deep for other nature activities. Finally. Finally! Our hard work payed off!

Now. Fairies and fables...

I'm trying to play an Enchanted by Nature bop around game. Since its the middle of winter and deep snow, this turned into a, 'Azuhra lets her sim go to all of the phone call outings' game. I've had an outing everyday for the last 4 game days. Okay then.

Its full blown winter. Franny managed to chat with the twigs of her plants and scavenge some goodies before the snow got to thick to do much of anything. Also, this is my first go with luck! We did not plant the cowplant berry, I've killed enough of those through the years.

A very teeny tiny 'home' was built. Its not for Franny, its for her poor, sad, frozen plants. Also, it just occurred to me that making this a tiny home would help boost skill gain yadda yadda. Belated. Oh, when I have some more simoleans, we'll buy an outhouse!

Ty called up about a dinner date. Franny was to busy having her mind blown by her first taste of pizza to care about Ty. Also, oops, I forgot I made her dislike video games. This terrible date was on me, Franny. Not even your good luck could turn that one around.

In these expansion explorations in the past, befriending Lilith has only ever gotten my sim bitten and turned. Uh, anyway. Here we are again. I wonder if they'll still be friends after Franny becomes a fairy?

After spending the night chatting up Lilith, Franny ate some raw fish. She wasn't sure about it. Neither was I. Its so cold out we tried doing a sponge bath in the public restroom to see if it'd be nicer. Kind of? She didn't freeze in there.

After wandering around the map section she calls home, Franny ran into a plant sim and they chatted for a while. I thought long and hard if Franny should become a plant sim for a bit - she does have that want. Then this guy called Ty rolls up to our conversation and throws in a flirty introduction as suave as you please. Yes, hello?

Continued foraging netted level 6 of the Nature skill. Things are getting easier. Then Lilith comes along and invites us to the Spice Festival for Pho (that Lilith, vampire that she is, didn't eat.) Oops, wandered off to City Living for a hot second!

Whats this, bubble blower deep thoughts? Blow bubbles and decide you should have the Mystical trait now? Hah, we've all been there Franny. You can have it. You can also now flop on the ground and sleep like you don't have a care in the world. Good for you, Franny!

I made the mistake of starting this save in winter. On an empty lot with the Nature Living skill. Oops. Franny, I'll do my best to not let you freeze to death!

That Nature skill is slowly going up. For the Nature Nomad aspiration, we also needed to go fishing. For Franny's plant lover trait, she demands to speak with plants we've planted. She also has ALL of the feelings after talking to them. Huh.

We're progressing. Still, we spend more time bathing than anything else at this point and Franny still doesn't sleep soundly through the night.

A little game play of bopping around with the new Fairies TS4 pack. Franny Fiddlefern here volunteered to move to that little pond lot in Innisgreen. Well, I volunteered her. We're starting out with the nature skill and then moving on to fairy shennanigans.

So far, Franny loves foraging, but not sleeping in the rough so much. We'll get there, Franny!

Guess who is finally playing with the fairies pack. With, not a fairy. I'll get there. Living off everyone's favorite little pond lot and doing the nature skill first because I can.

You knew this was coming the moment they announced fairies can't eat.

Your boy here found that stat number for emotional energy gain, so this cute flute glass will fill up fairy's energy if they drink it. It's human safe too and has 0 calories. Neat, no? This will allow you to play as a fairy in more casual or urban settings.

The tray somewhat low-polygon and the glasses themselves are under the polys EA uses for the cocoa tray, so I don't think that should cause issues. There might be a conflict with the thumbnails if you use restaurant overrides. I can't do anything about it. For it to work you need both the drink and tray .package files. Try and keep both together.
